I never believe reviews as most of the time they are miles off the mark as I read a book once and the reviews were awful yet I really enjoyed the book. Plus I also love old editions of stuff as I always think they are much better than the newer version.

the cheapest I could find it was over 60 € but sure, boo hoo about how £15 is sOoOoOo expensive for a book
edit: I’m by no means judging anyone for splurging on books, I’ve done my fair share, but Roobee 1) will grift anything and everything to avoid spending any of her own money and 2) never fails to mention how expensive something is when it suits her just to seem relatable, and this just shows how she can easily spend money whenever she feels like it.

I was very curious what Rumbster had left for me, and there's just one video that is about as charming and nice as a dead worm. And I just watched that video of her unboxing that book, and am I hallucinating from my fever, or did she really say: "you know it's a nice book when it's packaged this well". Like, what the duck does that mean?? and she says it so seriously too, nodding along solemnly

I noticed she felt called to get out some of the expensive gym equipment to prove it’s not all rotted away yet, and nearly broke her neck flopping around on the trampoline like the harmless flounder she is. I screenshotted her poem, here you go:

We then went shopping for a vegan roast to celebrate/commiserate.

I mean fair, imagine only getting to smell a potato once a year.
Just imagining the Gardening Police kicking Ruby's bedroom door down to arrest her for smelling a daffodil twice in one calendar year.
The confident assertion that flowers don't have a use was a bit jaw dropping. It seems that, for Ruby, things only have a use if they're useful to her. Flowers are living organisms, their use is for themselves to grow, reproduce and continue. Outside of themselves they're also useful to insects and the food chain, humans have also used flowers in medicine for centuries. Surely she covered this at school?
I really hope her younger viewers don't take what she says as gospel.

How many lies did she tell in this video the amount she told is ridiculous and I know she probably told more lies but tbh I can't be bothered to write them all down. Here are the main ones that I noticed in the video:
1. She has not seen any friends what about your gifted trip to Exeter with Blakeney and getting gifted tickets to see Swan Lake at the Royal Opera House with your friend
2. She has not gone out again what about your trip to Exeter, The Royal Opera House and walking around London to find Holly Jackson to celebrate the release of her new book.
3. Thinking that you can only get, access and smell flowers once a year.
4. Excited for term to start yet looks away from the camera when she says this which means that she is not looking forward to going back and is feeling anxious about her return to Oxford.
Also like her previous video she didn't do anything that was remotely interesting and as a result it was just another pointless vlog.

My favorite part of this video was her saying she was sad to leave the garden/home because she was going to Oxford that day, and then showing the next day (if she's not lying about the time sequence, which is doubtful, but how many lies can you wrap yourself up in?) still at Bones Manor, and then also showing that evening, after dinner and her shower, obviously staying for yet another night. If it is true that she was meant to go home that first night, it's a clear indication that she is not happy at AXEFUD and wants to stay home longer. But if it's not true, it just goes to show that she's a giant liar and smudges her timelines (which is also not surprising and something WE know, but you'd think her avid watchers would have caught on by now). Either way, I don't know how she has an active audience to whom she constantly lies to. I will never trust her yapping and holier-than-thou lectures about anything she does, or anything she claims to know. Another insufferable watch. Thanks, Ruby, for nothing.

She's not lying, necessarily, about the sequence: the second "day" is clearly earlier than the first. The flowers are less bloomed, she keeps referencing storm Kathleen (which was at the beginning of the month, not earlier this week as term starts today). She doesn't refer to it as the next day either, just "another day" in spring. Given she does just lie about timescales sometimes, the way she's presented this is probably more representative of her slapdash editing. She probably just didn't think about how it would look (and for a literature student? Womp womp.)
