So I know MA programs are different in the UK than the US but is she going to only be doing this for a year? Does she even know what she is going to be doing after?

I also could not help but notice the few sweet gifts she received. Some water paints, which she was thrilled with, being an artist, 2 matching mugs, a pretty plate, and then....a book of A Little Princess. I am pretty sure we know who sent that one.
What point in the video does she show A Little Princess as I have watched the video and didn't see it.

I did wonder if she was as she did study theology and she did things like read the Bible and she mentioned listening to 'The Daily Prayer,' on her study with me vlogs years ago.

I was surprised to see her potentially scheduling prayer for 20 minutes.
---
That is a common way to write about praying in the UK / British English. It’s a noun form, so taking time for praying can = prayer.
Oops that was me being very stupid or dyslexic even though I'm form the UK 😅

God I’d love a documentary of her wandering around the rough parts of Glasgow. She’d faint if she came here. Not least because she’d get called out on her bullshit if she started it in public.
Did not expect to find a fellow Weegie here. She’d get eaten for breakfast here.

Ruby’s pumpkin bedding is from Asda. That’s why she isn’t too keen to tell people the source.

Courtesy of my own meanderings around the internet looking for interesting bedding - wasn’t expecting to find that, but glad I did.

“Reset” routines are very popular on TikTok - I think she’s siphoning from that in her endless quest for a new personality.

Whoops, Ruby wasn't paying attention when Googling "quotes about siblings" and accidentally reveals she didn't actually read the thing she claims she read, for the 42,948,567th time.

I'm also dying at Ruby's weirdly clinical and ambiguous birthday message to her sister; note that Ruby doesn't actually says anything positive about her sister or their relationship anywhere in this post.
Im fucking cringing.

https://www.youtube.com/@emmiereads Canadian booktuber that is very down to earth and finishing her 4 year degree. She likes classics, but she doesn't pretend to like every classic like Ruby does. My only criticism of Emma is that sometimes she rates books that are seen as "trashy" low even if she enjoyed reading them. She used to do a lot more nature walks, but her bf got a job in Toronto, so they live in the city now. She still takes frequent trips home when there's a lot more mountains and greenery because she really enjoys being out in nature.
Oh yeah I love Emmie!! I've been watching her for two years now. Do you have any other recommendations?.

This. I can't believe the number of young kids nowadays who aspire to be "influencers" when they grow up. It's not a damn job but it's very easy mone if you're lucky enough to get past other twenty gazillion channels who are also trying to be rich from social media. Ruby has lucked out big time, I wonder why she even keeps up this charade of an academic future. Just slap a Notion or a NordVpn spon on your crap video once every few weeks and you're sorted. Makes me angry.
These "influencers" are even more disgusting for us artists,
I see in the video comments somebody received the planner but it arrived in a damaged state and I have also noticed that when the planners have been shown on videos a number of them look damaged and don't look new at all. Here is the comment that was posted on Ruby's latest video.
Hi Ruby ! I have received the planner (i had to pay more money than i thought to get it to France but that is another story and obviously no fault of yours or the company you work with) and unfortunately it arrived really damaged because the last page was built in as the first but folded to sit as the end page anyway - so of course it is now in a really bad state. It also led to damage to the spine of the planner (which now looks very fragile to me, I do not think I will be able to carry it around). I went to all the shops that help with these kinds of things in my area and none of them have the equipment to fix it. I hope this review can be seen so that hopefully this does not happen to someone else ! I hope they can check for that sort of mistakes.
Damn even my compatriots buy this crap?

The terms are eight weeks but that is mainly for undergraduates. Realistically you need to be working outside of that to complete a taught masters (like the one Ruby is doing).

However, I don’t think she will drop out. I think she will make excuses, get extensions, and possibly cheat a bit.
True, although I'd imagine all the work outside of terms can be done from home, with maybe a weekly or fortnightly trip to the libraries.

I got The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society DVD from my local library the other day andfinally had the time to watch it tonight. OMG I LOVED it! Such a great film. Have any of you seen it/ read the book? It was just what I needed after a day at work, lots of uni stuff and being stuck on a train for an hour and a half, two stops awy from home, because of a technical problem. I'm also really sore because I did yoga again after a 4-year break. I can feel every muscle in my body, even muscles I didn't know I had. :ROFLMAO: So nice to just chill out on the sofa with a good film for a change! So that's my film recommendation for the day.
I haven't seen nor read it but thank you for the recommendation! I'll definitely add it to my list :)

Re: cleanliness. I am not a stickler for it, my home is nearly always a little overdue for a clean in one place or another. But that screen shot someone posted a while back of the enormous amounts of dust under Ruby’s bed was absolutely sickening. It’s literally a health hazard, it would cause respiratory problems at least. Someone also posted an excerpt her mother had written about how she never vacuums under the couch cushions nor the beds, how there’s cob webs everywhere etc and she just asks guests to “ignore it”…

Their bodies may be used to it in that they’re not having constant allergic reactions but anyone else would surely at least sneeze a lot while there, if not have full on allergies and leave feeling run down and sick. Ruby never looks healthy which I’m sure she doesn’t eat enough or well but it wouldn’t help breathing in 10 years of dust and ingesting the bacteria that is clearly thriving all over their surfaces.

On the bed sheets, at first I was giving benefit of the doubt as I personally really only have 1 sheet set that I wash and dry then put back on the bed. I do have a spare but they are old and I don’t like them haha. But seeing the state of the house and their normalised levels of hygiene I don’t think this is the case here. Plus she literally took them outside then put them back on LOL.
Their house must just smell so bad but they can just light candles to disguise it

I’ve had several friends who have the same condition as her re: the way her thumb itself looks, and none of them have had nails like that. It just looks like a reflection of the same half-assed way she does everything else.

I just don’t understand how her nails physically grow that way.

Edited because I misread/understood what you were saying. I’m in the uk too but I didn’t go for pregnancy reasons so I didn’t know they just gave it out like that to people who presumably aren’t sexually active so I thought she would need to find some other way/reason
Yeah they ask very few questions. I’ve had more questions asked for antihistamines lol. I mean, you can even just buy it over the internet via chemists
