Like how she was constantly late to her gymnastics class in her final year? then she’d end up only attending like 30 mins of it. She’s very sloppy with her time despite claiming to timetable her whole life. It’s all bull.
Also, inconsiderate of others' time. I'd be terrified and anxious to walk in after half the class has gone by. I get anxious when I'm five minutes late.

I think the class was probably just bull. To me it seemed very much like she was going to an open session gymnastics place where you can just drop in and have 30 minutes free play on a trampoline when one freed up. But she painted it as a structured class to make it seem more important and like she was incredibly busy, had a jam-packed schedule and was LARRRNING in everything she does.

Either way, it's a bad look for her. This on top of her often being late to things or showing up to the wrong building because she didn't bother reading her uni emails for room changes. And yet she thinks she's qualified to market and sell planners that she JANUINELY DESOIGNED HARRSALF.

So who took this picture at the railway? Did she ask a stranger or was Mother Bones there too?

She really looks like she's trying to cosplaying Hermione on her way to Hogwarts. The scarf, the jumper (looks like one that she would wear in the earlier films) and standing outside the station. Makes me wonder what Ruby's going to wear on her first day at Oxford and throughout her time there 🤣

Also I have a question. I'm not originally from the UK so I'm not sure how it works but I'm assuming Ruby will stay at Oxford during her course (because she has to live out her fake Hogwarts dream of course) but how do postgraduate accommodations work, especially at Oxford? I would assume many post graduate students don't stay on campus and maybe commute instead?

throughout the whole video she seemed really on edge and like she wasn't really enjoying herself, and any excitement she did express seemed forced - which is strange for someone who claims to adore literature, and the brontes etc.
I think she did do this alone (or at least partly) and being away from home and her family made her stressed. I think she's trying to force herself to prepare for Oxford, where she will need to be away from home. Really don't know how she's going to cope

Most Oxford students (even postgrads) tend to live on-campus in uni accommodation unlike at most other UK unis. There’s also a rule that she has to live within 25 miles to register. So she’ll probably end up agreeing to rent a room that she only stays in for half the week or less before making the trip back to Bones Towers (if she can book the right train).

Full cap and gown, all the time. It’s going to be wonderful …

Ruby, soon-to-be studying 1550-1700 c. literature at Oxford, just posted that Macbeth is set in the 14th century 🤦‍♀️ (it’s set in the 11th). Hasn’t she claimed Macbeth is one of her favourite Shakespeare plays? Isn’t she literally going to be spending a good chunk of her master’s studying Shakespeare? She just read an entire book based on Lady Macbeth’s backstory and didn’t even realise what time period the book is set in. Maybe she should be spending her time reading the actual play instead. Someone corrected her in the comments and she’s changed the caption now. I just can’t believe she didn’t take even a second to double-check? Even if I knew with 99% certainty (100% even!) that it was set in a certain time period, I would double-check before posting it to my 200k followers. She really truly believes she knows everything and is never wrong. Unbelievable.

I'm looking forward to hearing Ruby deny that she made a mistake with Macbeth, like what she does with anything else. I think that I would respect Ruby if she admitted to a mistake instead of a vague excuse to why she got something wrong like when she mispronounces words etc.

Why's Ruby speaking about Yorkshire as though it's a different country? Is that a Home Counties thing or is it just Ruby? 😅

What do you mean? Didn't you see her twirling blissfully through the fields? 😝

I just googled that and the first result was SparkNotes. Has Ruby stopped checking SparkNotes?! It's also worth mentioning (again) that Ruby's Yorkshire trip was entirely focused on literature outside of the time frame she's studying. Sylvia Plath definitely wasn't Early Modern.

How is she not embarrassed by how confidently wrong she constantly is?

Wonder if her parents are entitled to a refund for her overpriced and ineffective education 🤣

It's the confidence of someone who was repeatedly told at 12 that she was intelligent and knowledgable for spending a few minutes reading an encyclopedia entry and memorizing a few lines to parrot off, when her "peers" were all discussing lipstick and boys.

Then again, someone who was truly confident wouldn't have written a self-insert book where on almost every page various characters including strangers praise her for being so brilliant and precocious...

She strikes me as profoundly insecure, but in the way that narcissists are, where they’re incapable of admitting any imperfection while at the same time not bothering with facts and other boring things. Gaslighting is so much easier, and you get a little rush of power from doing it!

"YES OFFICER, THAT ONE!!!"

This part felt really weird and creepy. Also, it reminded me dakota and jack's twirling footage. They all seem to be trying too hard.

I feel like if I was overwhelmed with joy to twirl around i wouldnt bother doing it infront of the camera. That footage works only in movies. In jack+dakota and ruby's videos you can see that they are hesitating but also keep pretending so it becomes the opposite of "JANIUNE" emotions. Its forced and uncomfortable to watch

She had to go back and edit it a second time, too, after people pointed out that "drayds" aren't a thing and she probably meant "dryads".

And after two rounds of edits, she still hasn't caught all the glaring errors:

What an indescribable dumbass.

dryads are also from greek mythology, not scottish. tbh that has me side eyeing both ruby and the author - was there any research done into scottish folklore or is this just another case of ruby being an idiot and making things up about a book she hasn’t read?
