Is her ‘I bought a cottage’ video private now? I’m still relatively new to the Rubyverse but I am binge watching her videos and reading this thread like there’s no tomorrow because I have exams coming up and naturally I am doing anything but studying. The only reason I knew she had a cottage was through tattle.

Yeah. My cousins (19 and 23) live at home with their parents. They are both studying and working part time. They literally can not afford to move out. It works out well for my auntie and uncle tho because they have two strong lads to cut the grass, clean the yard up. Fix things around the house. They also all share 2 cars, splitting the costs amongst the 4 of them. Highly doubt Roob is as helpful.
And yeah. She owns her own bloody cottage.
i lived at home (not childhood, my parent had moved) from 25 to 30 partly due to health and mostly due to cost. I paid a share of bills and small rent (I was in a low income job, on free prescriptions etc).
I loved as a housemate/lodger and had a share of cooking and cleaning to do and I did the majority of the laundry for us both. My parent also worked away a few times a month and liked having me their so the house wasn’t empty.
Does anyone know which college Emma Watson is going to be in when she goes to Oxford in September?

This also makes me wonder if she hasnt abandoned the effort. Surely if you have nothing else to do you can easily get your drivers license in a gap year. I can only speak for germany, but I got my license in about half a year while I was still at school. It would make so much sense to just push through it and finish it as quickly as possible before she starts to attend Oxford, but we havent heard her bragging about getting her license and she still gets chauffeured around by Mummy. Maybe driving lessons/ the practical exam were too much for her? I remember I was completly scared by driving, and driving instructors usually arent the most understanding people if youre struggeling with anxiety etc. They also usually point out your mistaked quite harshly, which would be a completly new experience for Ruby.
I can totally imagine she learned all the theory and then thought she'd ace just everything. Maybe she just crumbled when she realized learning signs by heart is only 10% of actually being able to drive. And then the evil instructor was so mean to her that she just gave up?
Also I cant really imagine she actually wants to learn to drive, since its such a common milestone of "becoming an adult" which she's avoiding at all costs. I also guess if she bought a car or sth. we'd never really hear of it since it doesnt really fit into the "Anne of Green Gables" brand and also Emily Dickinson never wrote a poem about cars.

I'm late to ruby's new video, but I love how at the start of the video she makes a point about how beautiful the BARD song was that morning, but all we can hear is a plane for majority of the clip. Ah yes, the calming sounds of metal BARDS in the morning, how nice!

I have one of the wrap dresses in a forest green and it's one of my most favourite dresses to wear in summer as it's made out of linen! I had to save up for several month to be able to buy one, but it was one of those I'm in love I need to have it moments haha.I like some of Son de Flor's dresses, but they're eye-wateringly expensive and well outside my budget. Some of their wrap dresses are quite nice. Not really into the whole modest clithing, cottagecore style though, I prefer 60s and 70s stuff. If I'd want to spend money on an independent brand it would probably be The Hippie Shake. I bought a 60s floral minidress from them, but I doubt it would be Ruby's kind of thing!
