I had a look on Blakeney's LinkedIn and it's amazing to see how much she has done in comparison to Ruby while she was at university, she's worked while doing a full time degree and she volunteered ect, and is working, and really seemed to make the most out of uni and got a first, while Ruby regressed into a child over her time at uni.

Does anyone remember when Ruby ran out of her house when vlogging when home alone as there was a noise? I'm trying to think of my strangest Ruby moments, it's that or the cabbage porridge. What's everyone's?
Frozen peas for me (i'll update if i remember more)

Makes me think of the outfit that the Duggars and the Bates made their children wear when they were going skiing to ensure that the girls are being modest and honouring god even when they are on the slopes.
I’m sorry what? I can understand muslims who wanna wear a burkini in order to swim, but how is normal ski wear immodest?

Is no one going to talk about her absolutely twisted TikTok of how she sees visually sees the year? lmao. WTF is she talking about? No wonder her head is in the clouds and her feet are on backwards. She thinks she is being clever, but even to her followers she is just coming across as completely unhinged! The drawing of her year and the months. I showed it to my husband and he was like wtf does this mean? I said "Exactly." Ruby, summarized in 60 seconds. lol Chaotic mind, mass confusion, not even beating to her own drum. Her drum is back in that gap between August and September. She even forgot to call it pre-autumnal! Apparently during that time she is just in limbo!

It finally happened... I have been influenced by Ruby  I bought one of the books she recommended on her newest video ... I have to admit, I have been kind of curious since the video on Instagram where she read this book in the van haha
What will come next? 😭
(However, I cannot wait to finally read it!!! Even though it will not be as fancy haha)
lol I went book shopping yesterday, it had been a tough week so I may or may not have bought about 8 books - and I saw that one and steered well clear - I’ve been counterinfluenced by her 😂

I'm not surprised, I was thinking 70/30 she'd get in considering her background and Exeter transcripts. It will be interesting to see how much she's challenged. I'm ready for more content that takes her out of the Bones manor.

Maybe some of the kids mentioned Ruby as an assistant to their parents and someone complained to the school so she had to leave?? Bit far fetched but wouldn’t surprise me😂 either that she’s completely left which wouldn’t be surprising either.

This is almost certainly her third attempt at getting into Oxford and her second attempt at getting in for her masters. She had it the applications on her to do list last year, and then we didn't hear anything until she said she was taking a gap year. Knowing how obsessed she is with Oxford, there's no way she didn't apply last year because that would be giving up a chance.
I hadn't thought of that, but perhaps you're right. Third time lucky?

This outfit would be atrocious for any occasion, but wearing it to go skiing? Really?

She won’t be going skiing in that tbf. I’m guessing this was probably taken just after they picked up the skiis and boots.
They’re such tight cunts for going skiing at this point in the year though, right at the end of the season when most of the snow has melted 💀

If ruby was only doing her traditional job and it was something like spending a few hours a week helping in English lessons, why was she listed as a 'teacher,' ? I wouldn't have classified her as being one, maybe a teaching assistant at most but I felt odd with her being called a 'teacher '
She isn’t listed as a teacher. She’s on the staff list but so is everyone else, I’d guess it’s just something the school do to make it look like they have lots of academic staff. On a more practical note, state schools legally have to publish certain things online. I’m not sure if a staff list is one of those things (and independent schools aren’t subject to the same requirements as state schools) but I’d guess they do this because it’s sensible, and I think you have to have a staff list available for any inspections.

The thing is, I don't think it's necessarily wrong that adults should be able to enjoy the same things they did as kids. As an autistic adult, I still have a lot of the same hobbies and interests I did as a kid. I still collect stuffed animals and play the same video games I loved 20 years ago. I don't like the idea that "growing up" means you have to give up on the things you used to like. Yes, I've grown, but at my core I'm still the same person I was back then.

Except I also live alone, work full-time even through physical and mental health problems, and indulging in old childhood hobbies is a nice reprieve from the stresses of daily life. The difference with Ruby is that she comes across as spoiled and entitled, living off her YouTube ad revenue and staying rent free in her parents' mansion. She's never genuinely had to work a day in her life. I'd take less issue with her playing dress-up and reading old children's books if she had a real job or any responsibilities outside of that, but she doesn't. I don't think she feels the need to act her age or grow as a person or work through any of the psychological issues she obviously has, because she has the privilege to do pretty much whatever she wants.
Exactly that! I work 9-5 and supporting my family with the price of everything going up but I collect plushies and love videogames. These things have always brought me comfort but with Ruby she's always indulging in her childhood fantasies because she has the money to waste, she's never had to struggle. If I had her money and privilege I sure wouldn't be staying cooped up in her dingy dirty mansion.

She could make a series of dark macadamia drinks if she wanted to like she has endless possibilities yet doesn't do anything remotely creative or interesting...

I just saw that Noam Chomsky (or Kommski, as Ruby knows him) has called ChatGPT a tool for "high-tech plagiarism" and "a way of avoiding learning" and I can't help but picture Ruby taking that as a ringing endorsement.

She did everything possible to avoid doing her own work and using her own brain at uni, so I bet she's gutted that AI tools like that came out after she graduated.
It’s ok, there’s a Master’s degree incoming …

According to hardcore American christians its not only about covering body but also about the garment itself. Women are supposed to wear skirts, not pants, thus this monstrosity was born.
Why Ruby, an atheist(or a lukewarm Christian, im not sure) that dabbles in reading the Bible would wear a skirt(made from a flimsy fabric!) for skiing is beyond me.

Ruby's "routines" are always so painful because NOT EVERYTHING HAS TO BE A ROUTINE. Also, while I can see how it can become a problem, watching an hour of YouTube is hardly a sin and as someone who makes their living from it, you shouldn't act like it is??

Great, thanks, I'll rush out to grab the first hazy red bottle with a pump that I see  As if her shower has mood lighting

This is the most unhinged way I've ever seen anyone use a towel to try their face before. By which I mean I've never seen anyone use a towel this way before.

Finally: make your alarm a regular one rather than setting it every night - genius!!!!! How did the human race survive without the witterings of Ruby Granger?
It looks like the towel is trying to eat her

I haven't watch the video, but from what I'm reading here I don't know if I even want to watch it. I mean, the things she seems to do in the video ... I'm speechless. Playing pretend as an adult, playing waitress for their own mother and filming this?! if she wants to server people coffee, she should get a job in a café and not playing at home. if she wants to act, she should pursue a career in acting.or, better, seek help!
---
I'm just wondering what she is going to play pretend as next, she is already been a teacher, an academic, someone who likes books, and also a waitress, what's next?
hmm princess? 😃
