I have always thought that there is a direct correlation between becoming a YouTuber and having a mental breakdown/deep personal issues.
What I don't understand about this girl in particular:
1. Does she have a boyfriend? Is she still of a particular olive oil variety?
2. Who does she think she is hoodwinking with regards to bogus 'productivity' etc.?
3. Was Emma Watson/Hermione Granger ever appealing to anyone?
4. Does she actually have an eating disorder? Or is this just TL
5. Has she ever read a book?
6. Why does she think her undergraduate dissertation (what 3,000 words?) should be publishable?
7. Is she seeking help/therapy? Are there any indications of this?
8. What is the obsession with Oxford? If you can't get in as an undergrad, you cannot remedy this with postgrad. It's not equivalent.
1. Not that we know of. Wouldn't match her brand.
2. Young students who don't have the perspective to realize how unrealistic it is
3. To 8-13 year old girls who fancy themselves bookworms and the smartest students, yes. Source: I had a Hermione phase, emphasis on
phase as in I grew out of it
4. While she's never admitted it, the foods she shows on camera strongly suggest it. She does not respond to people calling her out for promoting unhealthy eating habits.
5. Yes, but they're all children's books.
7. In a long-ago video, she mentioned therapy, however it didn't seem like something she went to regularly or continued.
8. Oxford would validate her fantasies of being the smartest, the most productive, the most Hermione-like academic. Given the way she's treated her academics at Exeter, she doesn't seem to actually value the learning process of Oxford, just the name brand, so whether she goes as an undergrad or postgrad doesn't matter.
