I used to read a book while brushing my teeth when I was like 10 😂 but it's funny because Ruby is trying to make herself seem like a bookworm who is so engrossed in the book she can't put it down, yet to get that footage she would have had to set her camera up in the right place...so clearly not that engrossed 😂
The only time I took a book to the washroom was when I had a morning exam. And even when you're brushing what are the chances of you being wide awake to understand what is going on in the book? Reading is a luxury to most of us (and I think it stands true for most of her viewers) and yet she creates this whirlpool of ideas she sees on social media that it becomes difficult (and overwhelming) to execute those Tumblr posts. It's a big mess. Leave those aesthetic pins to teenagers. There are plenty adult and safe things to do without damaging your dignity.

according to the pumpkin productivity account it launched on the 14th, so any UK based buyers should have their orders by now
She's been desperately sharing stories of people receiving them, but it looks like most people learned their lesson after getting burned last year. This has been her weakest sales launch yet. She's barely sold a third of their limited stock so far when she used to sell out in a few days.

Ruby films herself loudly slamming doors open and shut to wander around outside while it's pitch black for some reason. "I don't usually do this," she says.

Well then it's not your routine, is it? So it has no place in this video, you dumbass.
No, but it was very entertaining.

Ruby is absolutely that character who dies first in a thriller because she hears a noise outside and thinks 'ooo a noise! I'll go outside to see'. Then she'd wander off into the forest and lie on the ground for no apparent reason. Or she'd decide to go down into the basement at midnight and light candles, accidentally summoning a demon into Bones Manor. And then, rather than going on a run to find the nearest priest, she'd try to incorporate it into her next video:

Productive Night Routine English Countryside (with a Demon)
Bye Bye Blakeney, Hello New Best Friend (Dark Academia Demon)
Learning about Victorian demonology from a demon - Halloween Study With Me
Is a demon trying to access your browsing history? Try Nord VPN and watch Malory Towers in peace.

She also won't watch anything intended for over 12s, so she she's going to watch "Dog with a Flog" - her favourite Disney Channel show, apparently, even though she gets the name wrong.
I didn't name the show in my recap because I couldn't figure out her pronunciation. I thought it might be 'Dog on a Log' but that didn't make a lot of sense. I guess 'Dog with a Blog' doesn't make a lot of sense either. 😂

She eats a couple more tiny crisps, then picks up that olive again, puts in in her mouth again, then spits it back out and puts it back on her plate again. She shoves that olive in her mouth and puts it back four times before finally just chewing and eating it. It's an olive. It's a one-and-done food, not something that requires multiple tries.
I didn't notice that. Wow. If it takes four attempts to eat a single olive then she needs help. It's also not great table manners to take food from your mouth and put it back onto your plate multiple times.

Why would you admit online that you like watching Dog with a Blog as a 22-year-old woman

...oh my god of course it leads into an ad
ik that was unwatchable when i was ten years old. not even possible to revisit for some nostalgic cringertainment. just downright nonsense

Later, poor Lola is clearly trying to cool down on the sofa and gets pushed out of "Ruby's spot" so she can watch ten minutes of a children's show
Lol, in my family my cat is the one who has a designated spot on the sofa and if you sit in it she'll meow at you until you move. If I moved her to take her spot I think my parents would kick me out

Maybe I'm reading too much into this dog thing but to me it's so weird and self-centered to go and move your pet who's trying to sleep just because you want to sit in what you've selected as "your spot". The rest of the sofa is right there. Just sit next to her and leave the poor dog alone lol. It just comes across as childish and bratty behaviour. You can just imagine the kind of tantrums she throws when it's her sister sitting in "her spot".

I mean, I would eat an olive exactly (AXACTLY) the same way. I don't like them. They taste like ... I can't even describe how they taste to me.

watching a children's TV show is okay, I think. I do it too sometimes. Not only old ones I used to watch but also Netflix shows which are aimed at children, but are educational at the same time (there is an Australian one about koalas and a vet and her family, especially the 12ish year old daughter, who rescue them and later put them back into the wild. It's so cute and lovely to see the koalas). Just chilling on the sofa, knitting in hand, some cosy show for kids just to stop the mind spinning and spiralling because of the world. But if I had a dog or cat, I would let them be when they want to sleep in their favourite spot. I would sit next to the pet (if allowed! you never know with animals).
But other than Ruby, I also watch adult's shows and read books for adults (the occasional children's book is okay. it's like with children's TV, you sometimes need something light).

Lol I’m guilty of this as well tbf, sometimes you just have to! So many CBBC shows are just full of these adult jokes that just went completely over your head as a child, so they’re brilliant to watch back now you’re capable of understanding them 🤣 like my partner and I were literally in tears the other day over some 2007 episode of fool and dom in da bungalow 😭 and I swear it wasn’t even that funny as a kid.

Well she may not be watching Malory Towers for much longer, the most recent series features discussion of periods, so it'll be getting a bit old for her tastes...

I see a few of you have mentioned about the planner and IMO I think there are a few reasons why people aren't buying it:
1. The planner is too expensive at £18.50 and as a result people do not want to spend this much on a planner.
2. The planner is similar to last years as it consists of the same content.
3. The quality of the planner isn't the best as last year people were complaining that the planner was falling apart within a few days of it being used and they haven't brought it this time around because they don't want the same happening again.

Are they really limited? How do you know? 😮 Isn't it supposed to say ‘comments on this post have been limited’ when they are limited??

I dont feel sorry for her ED wise. She has been doing research on this for years and willfully triggers people. Idk if she has it under control or not, but she went looking for it and now harms other people. duck her.

Anyone else reckon that she’s absolutely writhing at the fact that Eve Bennett got an equally high first (at Oxford), and in her results video mentions how she managed to do it while also maintaining a social life and other things? Just seems like Eve really did uni the right way and got her head on straight and was well rewarded for it, and is rightfully happy with her grades, whereas Ruby spent the whole time aiming for perfection only to be ‘slapped in the face’ with what anyone else would be ecstatic with.

Aww I didn't know this. Good for her!

Is Ruby in touch with Eve Bennett, though? I've seen comments by Jack and Jade on Ruby's insta, but never seen anything from Eve. It doesn't seem like they interact much.

I swear eve isn’t managed by sixteenth so she doesn’t have to participate in any of their fake online friendships lmao.
