It's been 3 days. I'd ask what's wrong with her brain but that seems obvious already.

"I'm waahring this to a Barrd 'n' Bland evant. Oiy'm gyowing with FOIVE FRANDS. [SMILES PROUDLY]"

So...she went with two people: One of whom is a child who just turned 17. STOP BEFRIENDING CHILDREN, RUBY!

Hilariously, Ruby longs to be a child again and showed up looking like everyone's estranged (and very strange) great aunt. She looks 20 years older than everyone else in the picture. It doesn't help that she's wearing grandma's curtains as an outfit.

Note that this is also not the outfit she showed in her outfit of the day, and even though she changed after that, she didn't have the sense to toss that collar in the fire.

Also this "event" seems to just be the staff preparing samples. It's about as much an "event" as when they set up a stand at the supermarket to hand out sample foods on cocktail sticks.

Who are these people please? i thought her only friend was her wifey blakeney, that she replaced with the girl who drew stuffs on her planner.
I've never seen these random ppl.

Blakeney is an adult with a job and therefore a traitor to all that Ruby stands for.

The friend from school who illustrated Ruby's planner got hired by the BBC (in Oxford, no less), so she's also dead to Ruby now. Being an adult, being more successful than Ruby, or reminding her of Oxford are all strictly forbidden.

She's chosen instead to cherry-pick her new "frands" from, I assume, the many Discord groups she set up for small YouTubers and 12-year-olds who like tea.

I didn't know any of that.

But when did she start befriending her followers?
I remember she used to ignore everyone.
Just recently i saw her replying to a fan on Youtube, and the girl had been writing to her for 7 years, and she only replied to her now, 7 years later. 😂

Maybe it's cause she's losing followers that she decided to reply to them now? 😕

She's been running strange contests like the notorious "penpal application form" one at Christmas where the "prize" was to get a letter and some regifted freebies from Ruby's stash of sponsored tea. It was supposed to be a "winners chosen at random" thing, but she pretty much admitted to just picking the people who were most like herself to write and send gifts to.

I highly suspect that's also why she keeps starting Discords for small studytubers, so she can selectively pick the young girls most like herself to befriend but where she holds the power because she has a much larger following and will receive all their glowing adoration.

Occasionally she'll meet up with them and they'll invariably be much younger than her and either look like her, act like her or share all her affectatious interests.

That reminds me of that pic of her with blakeney and a blonde, and they all looked like several Rubys. 😂

The new friend here looks like Jade. 😱

Oh and there's some old Christmas pic of a girl who looked like a twin of her sister.
I still wonder who that was.

So it seems you're right, she keeps people similar to herself or to those she already knows. 😆

But Ruby said on a video that she prefers to be alone, that it drains her to socialize, so perhaps she isn't really looking for friends, and only trying to keep her followers....

She used to have tons of people commenting, and now she gets a lot less.
And she sells a lot less planners.

So maybe she has been advised by her team to reply to her followers. 😕

Or maybe she's trying to make new friends like you say... Maybe it's just to have new content for youtube.... I don't know.

Can you tell me how to find her discord accounts please? I'm curious. 😊

edit: looks like they all follow Eve and she follows them, but Eve is under a different management company (M&C Saatchi Social, looks bigger than Sixteenth), so that’s probably why there’s no cooperation… and as we know, it’s a waste of time to interact unless you can make money off of it 🙄

Yes this is correct. The rest of the studytubers had the same management and Eve was with Gleam. I remember Eve answering a question about it in a video

I am all for people wearing clothes that make them feel comfortable, and I know there are plenty of people that like to dress modestly or in old fashioned/vintage attire. I also know that I made some questionable fashion choices in my youth before discovering the style of clothing I liked and that looked best on me. With that being said, I can't get over how truly heinous a lot of Ruby's outfits are. I get that she doesn't like to "dress like other girls" or follow fashion trends. That's fine, but girl, at least wear colors and styles that match! Like gossip guy said, despite her obsession with childhood, she sure does dress like a grandma. Those rusty colored "vintage" shorts with a long sleeve shirt? Those disgusting collars that she wears on everything? The stupid beret and the tailcoat? I am embarrassed for her because while you can maybe get away with playing dress up when you are a kid, a 22 year old should not go out in public dressed like that. Maybe other people don't care that much, but every time I see Ruby's latest crime against fashion, it makes me want to come into he house and burn it all.
