Oh but you forget that she absolutely needs an iMac because the larger screen is "perfect for editing"- after all, she is a WRITER who is currently editing her debut novel and that IS HER IDENTITY! Surely you can't expect her, as a WRITER, to do her editing on a run-of-the-mill laptop like us peasants - she clearly needs a larger screen because how else is she going to do all the edits on her sixth (or are we already on the seventh?) draft. It's an investment in her future as a bestselling WRITER, clearly.

I'm really surprised with as thoroughly versed Roobs is about ideal forms when it comes to studying, productivity, and being a Tory that she lacks any acquaintance with the importance of at least neutral if not good posture when one is suffering through long bouts of fruitless, seated labor.

Desk stretches/postures were actually taught as part of some of the virtual classes I attended at my cheap, public university. Fancy that?

This isn't really related but drinking coffee actually makes me so hungry, like one time I had to go bang on the door of my school's cafeteria and ask for a granola bar after it was closed because I'd just had coffee and my stomach kept growling in class lol.
Anyway I think her caption should be "because coffee is my identity now " because just suddenly liking coffee after abhorring it for years makes it pretty obvious why it's her new dead horse to beat.

Same for me, I used to drink a lot of coffee at work and was always hungry. It's more water which makes me feeling "full".
