My God, she's only a month into her gap year and she's already starting to unravellol I went on tiktok for the first time in months and was slapped in the face with this, it was AXTUALLY quite terrifying

Also, in case you were wondering. Glad to see she’s being productive and finally organising the months in order of preference, instead of spending her time on something silly like doing youtube or getting a job.

I think she will get them in July as I remember that when I did my Undergraduate Degree I got my results back then. When do we think Ruby will get the degree results?
I imagine we'll never hear about it unless she does get a First.Idk if it's just me but I'm just not at all interested in Ruby's degree results cause I'm 100% certain that she'll get a First and a Really Good Grade for her dissertation so there's just no excitement there for me
This is hilarious. It's like self-parody.lol I went on tiktok for the first time in months and was slapped in the face with this, it was AXTUALLY quite terrifying

Her graduation is on July 12, so sometime before that. When do we think Ruby will get the degree results?
She should be getting it any day now then, at my uni you got it 2-3 weeks before officially graduatingHer graduation is on July 12, so sometime before that.
Well that means she'll start building those Holocaust memorials on July 13 then - after all, she did promise to start with that right after her graduationHer graduation is on July 12, so sometime before that.
Exactly, there's a few different Stephen King books referenced in Stranger Things, so they would be the obvious choice as a recommendation. However, I really, really cannot imagine Rhubarb reading It. Or any Stephen King really.I mean Stranger Things is quite explicitly inspired by Stephen King's books, particularly It. Like, it's not subtle lol anyone who's seen Stranger Things and has at least a vague idea of what It is about would recognize that.
I find it hilarious to imagine that she's never actually read 1984 and she's fully convinced it's set in the '80s (like, our '80s, not the dystopian 1984 Orwell imagined). I see no other reason to connect Stranger Things with 1984. And considering the weird way she's used 1984 quotes before it's quite obvious she's not familiar with it.
I’m sure she said once that she’d read one and didn’t like it but it turned out she’d downloaded a book by a different Stephen King and not the ‘proper’ one. That said I’m not sure she’d like books by the real Stephen King either.Exactly, there's a few different Stephen King books referenced in Stranger Things, so they would be the obvious choice as a recommendation. She is extremely dumb and previously took a quote from 1984 on brainwashing as an inspiring bit about reading books so (maybe someone remembers that incident more in detail)That would make more sense. I hope there's a connection like that, otherwise Ruby just seems like a clueless person who's never read the book. Of course, both of those could be true.![]()
She’s marked it as ”read” on Goodreads, so she’s definitely looked at or towards it at least once. She did a video on books about bullying once and recommended Carrie though whether she read it remains to be seen
