I predict she’ll get a coffee advent calendar and then once that runs out will be straight back to teahow long until she stops drinking coffee? or did she need a different liquid to fill herself up with?

Judging by Instagram, she went to Five Guys with mummy. It remains to be seen if she ordered the "vegan" burger with the dairy bun again. She definitely has got a first. We know Ruby and there’s absolute no chance she would have continued to post today and post an Instagram smiling about her results and saying she’d upload a video if she hadn’t got one. She cried when she got a 2:2 in a first year essay which counted for zilch, so you really think she’d be smiling about a 2:1 in her final degree?
I’d have been surprised if she uploaded today. The normal (and correct) thing to do is to celebrate your results with family and friends first, so imagine she’s just gone for a meal or something. So I’d probably stop the fantasising that she got a 68. She’s probably come out with a 77 or something![]()
Wtf is she wearing lmaoooWhy is she wearing her fathers shoes? They look huge on her![]()
I'm sorry but she looks so ridiculous sitting in front of that massive screen. Especially in the first screenshot. Petition for Roobee to bring back her laptop and give her mac to charity or someone who achuallee needs it?Ruby: "I bought a £1500 iMac. Pros: I can see things better and it will improve my posture."

Also Ruby: "Just gonna sit hunched at my desk in this utterly destroyed armchair not fit for purpose and position my eyeballs 1 inch from the screen for most of the day."
RIP Ruby's spine and eyesight.

Hunched grandma Ruby glares in Tattle's direction with pure hatred after being called out for charity theft yet again.
Did she ever say what kind of book she's writing? Is it for kids or teens or grandmas or what?Only the first two My Brilliant Friend books, in the other two the protagonists are no longer children so Ruby would never read them
I haven't seen the new season either, maybe it's because it focuses more heavily on the Soviet Union and that's the connection she found with 1984?Just went to watch the video and it turns out Ruby did mention Stephen King. I haven't a clue why she thinks Nineteen-Eighty Four is connected to Stranger Things, though! It's a dystopian novel about control, totalitarianism, etc. What's that got to do with the themes of Stranger Things? Should point out that I haven't yet watched the most recent series, so maybe I'm missing something.
If the agent has been trying to sell Ruby's book to a publisher since the spring then why in Ruby's video titled A week in my life after University is she still working on the book that Lottie features in. This clearly shows that a publisher may not have been entirely happy with the book and may have suggested some improvements which to be fair it looks like Ruby was working on when she posted this video.Oh this is interesting - so if I understood that correctly, Ruby's agent (who must have nerves of steel to work with Ruby "I AM A WRITER" Granger lmao) has been trying to sell Ruby's book since spring - I wonder how long it usually takes to get a publisher to buy a book? Like what is the timeline here? Because it would be really funny if this just drags on for months and months without any results - and also, what did Ruby need to take the gap year for if the book is already finished and now it's just her agent contacting publishing companies? It doesn't exactly sound like this is a full-time job for Ruby at this point, so why again does she need to sit in her childhood bedroom for a year in order to become a WRITER? Couldn't she just take a job (wild idea, I know) or go solo travelling or sth while her agent does her thing? This whole writing gap year thing just doesn't make any sense to me.
I changed mine too and no one noticedGuys I love my new profile pic. It's taken from her recent insta story where she is trying not to look miserable while pretending that she loves writing.
Thanks, it's nice to be motivated by the giant moth on Ruby's bed.I tried to find out what my grade is in UK terms.don't know why but I was curious. it's an upper second something? at least my bachelor's, but I'm slightly better now in my master's and I'm still working on my thesis, so I'm not finished yet. It takes 6 months to write a master's thesis, 3 for a bachelor's thesis (I don't know if it's different in UK?).
and at the end, it shouldn't matter what grade you got. my husband, for example, got his job thanks to Xing and because of his interests and knowledge. but we live in a world where we constantly compare each other, "thanks" to social media it's easier than 20 years ago. I'm proud of what I've achieved so far and you all should be proud, because you know how you got that far. (I hope that sounds motivational. Maybe I should work as a motivational coach?)
I haven't watched her video yet, so I can't tell if you're joking. Is she actually reading call me by your name because how is she eating a peach whilst reading it
Yeah, I'm doing a PhD rn with a 2.1 in my UG, granted I bloody worked my arse off during my Master's and got a Distinction (and highest grade of my cohort, but there were only nine of us, and I was paying for it out of my own pocket so treated it like my 9-5 job lol) but still! End of the day, it doesn't matter that much.I haven't watched Ruby in the longest time but wtf is this video? Being that wound up about a 74 is so unhealthy.
The only time it matters is when you're pursuing academia and your offer says something like 'need a 65 in the dissertation component'. Is she pursuing academia? I don't even know anymore. Anything 70+ is fine though. I'm sure Ruby would be shocked to know I have a PhD with a ..low 2.1 in my bachelor's, and my friend on my PhD cohort (who is now a successful lecturer) only got a merit in her master's dissertation (and it was a low one - something like 62%)
Computer cost more than what both her books will ever be worth!Yes, I bet she thinks of it as an investment. But I reckon the computer cost more than the income she'll ever make from her book
That would make more sense. I hope there's a connection like that, otherwise Ruby just seems like a clueless person who's never read the book. Of course, both of those could be true.I haven't seen the new season either, maybe it's because it focuses more heavily on the Soviet Union and that's the connection she found with 1984?
Yep. However, I hope she no longer hunches over like she did with her laptop. A desktop will hopefully help her to sit properly.Perhaps someone has posted her reel, but I’m kinda curious because didn’t she LOVE her LG Gram laptop and made a video about it?
Certain members of this community consider doing paid work for a charity immoral and they have been spreading rumors of Ruby committing theft all over the internet. It's a pretty fucked up thing to lie about because you can't know it's not actually true unless you have been present here at the time. Can you explain the stealing from charities for me please? Not very Hermoine like isvit?
