People here are really good with words (much better than Rooby!), and the criticism this dumbass gets is well deserved and reasonable.

Today she posted this video on instagram with a revelation about public libraries. Thank you, guru!! You are the only person in the world who never uses them, because you can afford buying tons of new books that you will never manage to read, because having a huge personal library is part of your identity. What makes me angry is that she can't just say: "hey libraries are cool because you can get free books there", NO, she absolutely has to act like a fucking lunatic, with this weirdly crooked hand (this is her special gesture when she is especially pretentious) and rolled eyes and being over-dramatic about libraries, like they "syo syo incredible". Ruby, just shut up! Just go to a library, stop preaching your bullshit and read at least one grown-up book.
Just look at her face, she really believes she's saying something wise and special.

If she wants a slightly more accurate idea of who would by her book, why doesn't she give them any more information to work with?

Why is there a "depends on genre" option. Ruby's written the fucking book. She knows what genre it is. Tell people, then they have an idea if they want to read it or not.

How hard is it to just say:

I know this sounds awful but I've had two glasses of wine so let me be but I'm so glad to see that I get the same/sometimes better marks than Ruby and I put in half the hours she does (not a brag btw it just shows you don't need to do so much extra reading and 15 hour study hours to do well)

I’m too long out of school to really be able to relate, but yeah… I didn’t do anywhere near the amount of busywork and got the same or better while having an actual life and working 20 hours a week

I mean she’s right in that numbers really don’t matter (I’ve had exactly one person ever ask me how I did, my career is built on entirely other strengths) but I’m also petty enough to admit I’m glad she didn’t do as well as she expected.

Call me suspicious, but I really suspect that Ruby or her management team have been casting an(other) eye over Tattle, especially since this place was mentioned in her Discord.

She's suddenly started adding disclaimers like this, the Notion one from the other day and the odd note that she "doesn't want to fake productivity" (even though that's all she does) from the other day. Definitely seems like out-of-character disclaimers aimed at the most regular criticisms she gets called out for here.

If she did it consistently, that'd be great, but she's picking and choosing what she wants to declare, doesn't address all the lies and undeclared ads in all her videos and still continues to not declare the constant ads, like all the BARD 'N' BLAND crap she's posted today.

Her wording fitting into shorts she bought at 13 as a tip for saving money / building a wardrobe now I’ll be honest I was one of those teenagers to young adults who didn’t change build or shape wise drastically so my clothes size stayed relatively stable meaning I could fit into most things for at least a few years even longer, but even then I would certainly not try / expect to fit into anything then that I bought at 13! what i also have an issue with is how blah she is when she says it as if “oh why yes of course it’s perfectly normal and everyone should still fit into the same shorts they bought at 13 years old”

Certain members of this community consider doing paid work for a charity immoral and they have been spreading rumors of Ruby committing theft all over the internet. It's a pretty fucked up thing to lie about because you can't know it's not actually true unless you have been present here at the time.

It’s not that anyone considers doing paid work for charity immoral, people just object to an influencer who already makes loads money off social media taking payment from a charity to promote it on her platform, when she could literally just do it for free? Like it would have cost her nothing to make a few posts to speak about the charity, and if it was a charity she actually cares about then I don’t understand why she took payment for it.
To say she ‘stole’ money is wrong and inaccurate though, she didn’t steal anything and actually did give the money back, it’s just a bit questionable that she felt it right to accept the money in the first place imo

Also, don't forget that if you feel like you're not being productive enough, the main thing to remember is that you're simply not prioritising things properly! You simply aren't making time for the things you want to do!

During my bachelor's I always lived home between two semesters (2-3 months) and I enjoyed having so much free time. It was so nice doing all the creative stuff and enjoy nature and having a good time with little responsibilities. I finished my master's recently but I had a part time job during my studies and I will convert to a full timer in july. Now I have to maintain our apartment, cook, etc. And sometimes I get home tired and I don't really have the motivation to do something outside the basic things that keep me alive
So please Ruby, shut the f up with your privileged life I always found this so frustrating, seeing these people get free stuff and a lot of free opportunities with no effort. And here we are working 9-5 because life is not for free and people are aspiring these influencers...

I think the stealing part relates to her taking money under the disguise of using it to create memorials for the holocaust which never happened and thus it wasn't too far a reach to think she simply kept the money for herself.
