For someone who claims to AAAAHHLWAYS use sun cream and makes a big deal of only using the mostest delicatest baby cream for her baby skin, she sure was looking burnt the other day.

ot but also very not ot!!: I HAVE BEEN CURSED WITH THE RUBIATUS CURSE.

The events of the past few months of my life have now formed so clear a pattern that I cannot but see that Roo has put a spell on me. It all started when my friend gave me a candle snuffer for my birthday. When I first saw the thing, I tried really hard not to take offense and assured myself that this is a lovely gift from a normal person who had not familiarized himself with the lore of Miss Granger. After all, how was he supposed to know about the many times that object appeared in her videos, slowly losing its old-fashioned charm and becoming a symbol for all the things I abhor in the personality of Roo.

After I took possession of the said object, it did not take much time before I began to suffer under its dark influence. Yes, dear tattler, I accidentally flooded my kitchen because I, very much like Mother Granger, left the dishes in the sink whilst the water was continuing to run, unbeknownst to me. It was not long before I realized my terrible mistake; there were not inches and inches of water as it did in the now-famous historical case; I DID moped the floors afterward, thinking it would be very stupid to leave it to dry, like who does that?? However, I did flood my kitchen, I am ashamed to admit. It has never happened to me before, but it only takes one single mistake to realize how close we are to the eternal fall from grace into damnation.

On top of slightly flooding my kitchen, I have also been dealing with a skin condition that developed on my hands, especially the knuckles, due to a combination of allergies and stress (the knowledge that one day you may find yourself turned into one of the Granger clan is a heavy cross to bear, my friends). My hands are really dry and red and generally sore and they hurt like it hurts when you have to return charity money? They look just like Roo's circa early covid days. I have been seeing a dermatologist, but so far no improvements whatsoever.

tl;dr: THE RUBIATUS CURSE IS REAL. THIS IS NOT A DRILL. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELVES. HUMBLE YOURSELVES. BATTLE NOT WITH MONSTERS LEST YOU BECOME ONE. AVOID THE ABYSS.

The only way to rid yourself of this is to bury the candle snuffer. Best to do it when there's a full moon. Take your household supply of tea bags and bury them alongside it. Next, remove the batteries from your clocks so they stop ticking. These clocks need to be placed in a circle formation around the candle snuffer (RIP) mound. Repeat 'Ruby Granger is a bad friend' three times while doing uncoordinated yoga in circles around the mound. Afterwards, you must donate to a charity, an act which is sure to repel the Rubiatus forever.

I hope this works for you, let us know how you get on!

Oh, the deep joy at Roobs saying everyone should be more "bombastic" like Matilda, the dictionary definition of which is:

"using long and difficult words, usually to make people think you know more than you do".

Sound familiar?
Sooo … Ruby makes a post referencing the climate crisis and her parents, as well as owning at least two houses (three if you count Ruby’s), and at least two cars and a camper van, are apparently in California at the moment. Not to mention Ruby’s own huge carbon footprint accrued mainly through constantly travelling between home and uni (and making her parents drive down almost every week to see her). Does she not see the hypocrisy here?

Basically she likes Matilda because she's not like other girls

I understand that people see this as hypocritical. But please be aware that more than 70% of CO2 emissions come from only 100 companies. The individual carbon footprint is literally created by BP, an oil company. We need system change, not only individuals doing the best they can

I believe they are in Santa Cruz, Portugal fwiw. I totally agree about the hypocrisy of her climate awareness nonetheless

I know this has been said so often and I sound like a broken record, but she looks so unwell in her latest tea reel. I literally did a double take, has she deteriorated a lot recently?

She has. My jaw nearly dropped looking at her legs in the Matilda pictures.
