Also the phrase 'sell out' has pretty negative connotations. 'Best-selling' would have made more sense.
Seeing as there’s very little Roobee wouldn’t do for money, I’d say it’s pretty apt. A bit of dramatic irony to entertain us 😂

I read this as "Ruby Granger is a sell-out!"
I mean, that's not wrong...

Also I love how they proudly announce it's a "sell out" brand, when there's nearly 1400 out of 2000 ribbons still in stock that they've struggled to sell to anyone, even at the reduced price of £1.

It's also not hard to sell out of stock when you only have very small quantities (1,000 planners in this case) and never restock.

Her ’essentials’ in the first section are really not that essential in my opinion. She has a billion different planners and notebooks and lists. If she wanted to be productive surely she would just use one that fits all her need. I have one planner- I might jot a to do list on a post it but this is ridiculous

also a ’clean’ desk… tell that to the flies and dust

what gets me about this is, i have one of these rucksacks myself and they come in a lot bigger sizes than the one she has ! you can fit loads in them. she wastes so much money on these things when she could have just bought a bigger bag?????
Absolutely. If you're going to buy multiple bags, buy different sizes for different purposes. Instead she buys all the same size in different colours, then wonders why things don't fit.

I noticed that she uses cropped pictures with her back-to-school thumbnails, barely recognised her. Do you guys think she does this to attract new young subscribers? Because if so, she will quickly find out most people of the under 18 demographic are only on Tiktok and don't watch Youtube anymore. A 15sec video with the list she uses in this video would get her many quick views on Tiktok, plus with the creator fund she could make money with that. I've brought this up before, but the Studytok community is thriving whereas the Studytube community is dying with many old subscribers entering the workplace and failing to attract younger viewers. She either needs to change her brand or continue elsewhere.

I wonder if Frederick will get packed up in a special box that has been labelled desk decor

Possibly, but it defeats the purpose if she then dresses like she's a Victorian chambermaid. "49 Essentials for Back to School 1897."

She's incapable of creative growth or change. YouTube will be where she stays until her viewership quickly declines and she fades into irrelevance.

Never restock, and never send to half your customers, it would seem... 😬

Or to contest winners (who were never selected because Ruby be scammin').

But make sure friends and casual acquaintances get a freebie, because when you're friends with Ruby, who needs enemies?

For some reason Ruby using her issue of the New Yorker as scrap paper to introduce new ideas in the video really annoys me. Why not use a blank piece of paper and save the New Yorker issue for rereading? What a waste :(

There are these transparent sticky notes that are getting really popular among the stationary people right now, too! She could have just done her little titles on that and it would've lookedthe exact same without ruining the paper
