Yeah but they didn't pay her for an #ad slot so why would she mention their names?I need to just stop questioning Ruby because she will never make sense - but did anyone else wonder why she just said ‘with some friends’ when I think the whole internet now knows who Blakeney and Molly are?
She looks like Wednesday Addams' 5-year-old little sisterI need to just stop questioning Ruby because she will never make sense - but did anyone else wonder why she just said ‘with some friends’ when I think the whole internet now knows who Blakeney and Molly are?
I reckon it's because she wants to make it sound like she has more friends than she actually does.I need to just stop questioning Ruby because she will never make sense - but did anyone else wonder why she just said ‘with some friends’ when I think the whole internet now knows who Blakeney and Molly are?
Tbh I suppose she's same as Ruby. She wouldn't hang out so close with her if she wasn't. Same as Molly turned out to be a shitty person too.Blakeney deserves better.
There, that's the post.
Yep plus she has definitely capitalised on Ruby's following to promote her own projects. I doubt she'd give Ruby the time of day if she wasn't semi famous.Tbh I suppose she's same as Ruby. She wouldn't hang out so close with her if she wasn't. Same as Molly turned out to be a shitty person too.
Or Blakeney and molly were already there and all they heard was hello its robeeeWhy am i thinking that Blakney and Molly wanted to go alone and Ruby begged her way into going to this Alice in Wonderland exhibition because its 'alice' which of course she loved-
https://franziskakohlt.com/about/ I've half a mind to post a cheeky wee link to Dr. Kohlt's blog in the comments of Ruby's next "Victorian children's lit is so fascinating" video, just to see what she says (if anything). My doctoral thesis on Dreams and Visions in Victorian Psychology Fantastic Literature established the latter as primary medium to digest and communicate new scientific knowledge, its societal and epistemological implications. Moving on from Oxford, I joined the Department of Sociology at the University of York to work on Science and Narratives, and scrutinized Covid-19 narratives, especially those constructing it as war and conflict, and how they shaped public understandings and behaviours (read more here and here).
I have taught for universities in the US, UK and Germany, and several Oxford Colleges, specialising in 19th & 20th century literature, Literature, Science and Religion, Children’s and Fantastic Literature, Science Fiction and Visual Culture. Besides my academic work, I am an active science communicator, working with national and interantional media, as well as with museums and schools. I have been involved in a broad variety of school outreach projects, from media literacy, AI, climate change, to journalism, and English Literature.
Ruby knows Blakeney and Molly get a lot of attention and compliments in her comments (and actively tries to avoid showing too much of them and limits their time in her videos). Ruby also hates anyone but herself getting attention, so she avoids mentioning their names to knock them down to below herself. Blakeney's her only real friend. Here she's just "some friend".I need to just stop questioning Ruby because she will never make sense - but did anyone else wonder why she just said ‘with some friends’ when I think the whole internet now knows who Blakeney and Molly are?
Because that would require practise and effort. Everything is shallow and surface level with her.I wonder why Roobee doesn't play the piano since they have one at home and she's into dark academia&victorian&royalcore& all the other cringey elitist aesthetics
She really doesn’t have any skills, does she? She doesn’t play an instrument, doesn’t do a craft or draw/paint, can’t cook or bake.apart from unappetising things where she’s eliminated sugar and fat. Her only hobby outside of studying is flopping around on her trampoline or airtrack and looking like she’s two seconds away from breaking her neck.Because that would require practise and effort. She would have at school though, the school she went too doesn’t just let them do nothing when the other kids are at sportShe really doesn’t have any skills, does she? Doing PE with the other kids doesn’t really translate to any skill though, does it? What I’m saying is that the only thing she seems to have pursued is studying. She would have at school though, the school she went too doesn’t just let them do nothing when the other kids are at sport
No as in a Wednesday afternoon, private schools have a high percentage of pupils off at competitive fixtures, if you don’t do that, you have to do something else. So by chances she must have previously played an instrument etc, this even happens at 6th form tooDoing PE with the other kids doesn’t really translate to any skill though, does it? Would the acting class she took have fit in this time slot? Whatever it was she did, she‘s not pursuing it now. It just strikes me as very strange that she never talks about any hobbies. It’s all studying and compulsive exercise, she doesn’t seem to be doing anything that she wants to get better at or that has a function apart from making her feel productive or burning calories. No as in a Wednesday afternoon, private schools have a high percentage of pupils off at competitive fixtures, if you don’t do that, you have to do something else.
