My uni/work bag is a battered handbag that has old tissues receipts and random snack bars along with wet wipes all at the bottom
I think there might even be a lipstick in there for when I use to think about topping up my makeup during the day

I have the laptop 15-inch kanken and I've had it since the middle of year 11. I'm now going into my second year of university. They're made to last, compared to flimsy backpacks which used to break within like 2 weeks of me using them. They are expensive, though, there really isn't any need for her to keep buying these sorts of things when just 1 in the larger size would do her good.

just looked at molly's instagram story... she said she's been out on a picnic with her "wonderful friends Ruby and Blakeny"???

I have to say the Kanken is remarkably comfortable. However she tries to carry too many heavy things like a laptop in it. She’s have been better off getting the laptop version which also has padded straps.
Yeah, no doubt it's a well made bag, but it's just not a good choice for her purposes at all (or at least what she's claiming to use it for). No doubt she just saw a lot of other influencers with one and bought several in the same size, despite claiming to need a much larger bag.

Yupp, the second commenters started mentioning Ruby being unfollowed, Molly quickly U-turned and started fawning all over Ruby with praise for her wonderful, helpful content. Which is incredibly irresponsible to all Molly’s followers who started watching her videos focused around her eating disorder. Then she glowingly endorsed Ruby's toxic, triggering content. She's just as bad as Ruby.

definitely the laptop-sized one or at least a large sized one ! they're very durable and have lasted me a while with a lot of weight in them

Oh, I see the reason for Ruby's behaviour! She Googled "Slow Living", found a guide to slow living, and in true Ruby fashion, took it as literally as possible
Consume Less: easy, she'll eat less food
Adopt "slow" hobbies: Well, writing her notes out two or three times is certainly a way to slow down time
Do everything as well as possible instead of as fast as possible: She has to be the best at everything, the highest high achiever. She'll achieve this by filling her day with useless slow busywork
Don't treat everything in life as disposable: She doesn't throw out anything, even dead bugs and dust
Slow fashion: Buy clothes that look as old as possible, pair them in a way that could never be described as fashionable
Buy local and invest in the community: She bought a house in the local community and rented it out for a ridiculous amount to someone in the community
Try mindful breathing: The gross breathing and swallowing we sometimes hear in her voiceovers is simply her practicing mindful breathing
Don't rush through life: Ruby has achieved this by growing up as slowly as possible. Unlike you fast living losers, Ruby is savouring time. She stopped growing and changing at the age of twelve
If you follow these rules, you could be just like Ruby, living slowly in your tory parents countryside mansion, eating mushy homegrown vegetables for breakfast, filling your days with mundane tasks, twirling around in fields ✨🌿♥

Is it just me or is Molly's content looking more like Ruby's nowadays?
Well that's disgusting. She should be more aware how detrimental it can be. Seriously she's a total hypocrite and as bad as Ruby.

chronically? Guessing she means chronologically, how is she studying English and has it as her first language but still makes mistakes like this I don’t understand
I haven’t been here for ages and I literally came to post that 😂 she was clearly thinking chronicle, as in to chronicle one’s life and came to chronically which means something totally different…I mean, I teach 10 and 11 year old kids that could tell you she means chronologically. How does she get firsts in an English Literature degree when she gets those things wrong?!

The advert for that Alice exhibition popped up in my FB feed a while back and I have to admit I did a double take as I was convinced it something to do with Ruby - it was all back views of long-haired girls in quasi-Victorian dresses tiptoeing slowly though corridors and it looked just like one of Ruby’s videos (if Ruby‘s videos had a production value …)

RE: The Kanken/Uni bag debate, I actually have a plain old big padded black rucksack that's specifically designed and sold as a laptop case that I use if I ever have to take my proper laptop anywhere, and have stuck some pin badges on it to make it feel a bit more 'me'. That said, I do have a Kanken-style backpack from Notebook Therapy (it is the cutest thing, cost a fraction of the price and has a NO FACE FROM SPIRITED AWAY patch on it where the Fjallraven logo would be) which I bought for my MLitt a couple years ago and is still going strong, I'm careful not to overfill it but I can easily fit a slim ring binder, notebooks, a couple of library books and a small laptop I have (was an emergency "my laptop broke and I'm in the middle of my dissertation panic purchase D:") in it without any problem. Can absolutely recommend Notebook Therapy if you're into 'aesthetic' stationery and bags, they're actually pretty good quality and not too expensive for those sorts of Asian-esque stationery shops.

I need to just stop questioning Ruby because she will never make sense - but did anyone else wonder why she just said ‘with some friends’ when I think the whole internet now knows who Blakeney and Molly are?
im more interested in why she's wearing the weird bib again
