He is a nasty sinister man. Rob could have said so much more, he was incredibly dignified in his response, but NMS would only sue like he has before. More will come out once he’s dead I’m sure.
Was Karma Killer not supposed to be about NMS?

I know what you mean… not guilty, exactly, but a bit stupid for not realising the pain he was in to get those performances done for us, the fans.

Also a huge TT fan and I don’t recognise the stage collapse incident - remember those costumes though!
whoever designed the costumes for the film needs a massive “nod” especially in the Rock Dj part. So many outfit changes and they were all spot on. Felt like my old bedroom wall was coming alive, remembering the outfits and from posters and tv interviews. So so good!

I saw this on X. Does Rob not see his Dad anymore? I know he has Parkinson’s and doesn’t leave Stoke much
Pete was the Mitch Winehouse of his day. He used Robbie a lot to get himself attention, then would bugger off for a while then come back again. According to a few unofficial bios back in the day, Robbie had a rose-tinted version of growing up when talking about it. I just wonder if now that he has a family of his own, he has finally realised that and decided to be honest with some things.

What an amazing film ❤ A hard watch in places, as a die-hard TT/Robbie fan, I did cry a few times. I also wonder, if Robbie and Nicole could have made it if not for the entertainment industry and his addictions. She comes out of it very well, so he obviously still thinks highly of her.
The re-recordings of the songs are amazing too, particularly Come Undone and Something Beautiful (Escapology is my favourite Robbie album 😍).

I’m so desperate to see it, but live in Spain! I’ve always thought Robbie & Nicole had strong first love vibes; absolutely loved them as a couple, so pleased they have been open about their relationship in this film. There is a clip on YouTube were they bump into each other at the Brit Awards (where she’s doing some BTS interviews) and the chemistry is very strong (despite them having years apart and both married to other people)! Looking up BETTER MAN now to see if it’s here UN-DUBBED!

The concept for Better Man makes me feel like I'm a 100 year old man yelling at a cloud.

Why is he a monkey!!?!?!?!

Robbie says it’s because he’s always felt “less evolved than other people”. I’d also read it’s a play on the “performing monkeys” trope.

He also has a song called “Me and My Monkey” and looks a bit like a monkey (a handsome one). It makes it a lot more interesting than just a random actor that looks a bit like him … he has quite a distinct look .. I can’t imagine it would be easy to find someone that was super talented and looked close enough for it to be compelling.

I was a huge Robbie/Take That fan, the timelines are all a bit crazy, what I want to know is the truth in the part when he collapsed before the take that concert and was lying on the stage. Did that happen?

I feel that all the interviews and documentaries that have been out this past couple of years, it’s kind of make me feel a little guilty for being a fan. Does anyone else feel this way?
I saw or read in an interview that he would often down a bottle of vodka before appearing on stage with TT. I think that this scene in the film refers to that.

It does make it sad, especially when I remember how much snipping there was when he first left on both sides. The rest of the band knew he was spiraling but seemed to ignore it at the time when they themselves have admitted in later years to having issues because of the situation. I suspect the devil man deliberately stirred tit to make sure he didn't get the blame for anything—something he seems to still be doing now if the recent interview is anything to go by.

NMS evidently played them off against each other too, told GB he was the star and the others were worthless without him.
The hardest thing for me watching the film, was seeing what Robbie went though and as a teenage fan, being oblivious to how bad it got.

it makes me really sad that he was having such a bad time whilst I was having my best times.

He was on Graham tonight and explained the monkey thing.* I mean, do you or whatever, but the clip they showed made me sure I don't want to see a whole film of that. He was really great on the show though, I don't think anyone needs convincing but you can see why he's a superstar. But oddly glassy-eyed throughout? I hope he's okay.

*I was going to repeat what he said but it's already on Youtube, here you go:

He quite often looks like that when he's interviewing, even back to take that days I think it's potentially a neurodivergent thing as he often looks off into the distance instead of giving eye contact, which I know I often do when I feel uncomfortable talking to people.

On the other hand, Rami Malik looked WASTED
