I have never been a Robbie fan. Couldn't warm to him in take that, wasn't a fan when he went solo.

However there is no doubt that his letter to Nigel is amazing, written from the heart and without spite. He has grown , evolved, sometimes having kids does that to you.

I have so much respect for him right at this moment.

Also feel outshines angels every day of the week!

Here is robs response for those without IG. It is written beautifully and eloquent. He strikes me that he (rob) has comes to terms with everything but in his own unique way with a few bumps along the road.
The poster that said about NMS twiching coke jaw, I was watching it with my friend and she said EXACT same thing. 🫤

Feel is one of his best songs! That era of Robbie was my favourite!

Nigel is the epitome of a man who fails to read the room. His comments were gauche and embarrassing to hear. He might be a skilled businessman but he doesn't come across as particularly intelligent.

I've only watched 1 episode, so not sure if he featured more, but jesus he came across as a complete bleep in it.

If it was just Robbie calling him out, then you could maybe say it was a difference of opinion, but even the others said stuff about him over the years about how he treated and put them against each other as well as those who worked with the group.

He is a nasty sinister man. Rob could have said so much more, he was incredibly dignified in his response, but NMS would only sue like he has before. More will come out once he’s dead I’m sure.

I always suspected there was an element of SA around the take that situation … Gary used to go on holiday with him to Disney and they called each other female names … maybe not actual SA but deeply inappropriate behaviours. The whole team around take that were gay and I think some of them ended up confused re their sexuality.

Saw the movie today - absolutely stunning. No subtlety whatsoever but incredibly moving and really funny! Really hope it gets a bit of award recognition.

Niche one: Robbie’s sister isn’t mentioned at all in the film - you’d assume he’s an only child. Anyone know why? I can only assume she’s said she doesn’t want any attention, but wasn’t sure if something more interesting was going on…

Isn't his sister a half sister (they have different dad's)? I think she is a bit older than him so might have already moved out of the family home by the time the film began and maybe wasn't around much in the Take That years?

From being a small child through to about 2006… I did notice timelines being fudged/merged in a couple of places, so maybe that’s it (e.g. in real life his parents separated when he was three - in the film I think he was 10?)

Yeah, I think it’s down to the film messing around with timelines a bit… his parents separated when he was three (which would make Sally about 12), but in the film Rob was about 10 when they separated?

I know what you mean… not guilty, exactly, but a bit stupid for not realising the pain he was in to get those performances done for us, the fans.

Also a huge TT fan and I don’t recognise the stage collapse incident - remember those costumes though!

Sally's always been private, from what I remember back in the old days when fans would harass her to try and get info on him. Add that to the fact she is actually only his half-sister and they didn't grow up in the same house, plus the fact she is about 60 now and likely doesn't want all the hassle starting again, I can only assume she likely asked to be kept out of the film.
