Wow! How snippy and aggressive can one person be? Literally accused anoth3r person of faking poverty when she was actually agreeing that no child should have to worry about housing and where their next meal is coming from.

What a really nasty piece of work she is.

Time people stopped contributing to her "book".

It'll be full of "poor me" and "I'm a victim" from her while using other people's reality to highlight it.

High time this kind of bollocks was called out for what it is.

She got a link in there for her "book" though.

I wonder what happens to that cash if the book doesn't go ahead. My guess is it won't be refunded and RM will enjoy the proceeds while telling the gullible that she donated it a la Jack Monroe and her legal payout,

How can you provide childcare and be a parent while spending that amount of time on Twitter? I would hazard a guess the kids are not there as much as she says they are. If they are then they are being ignored while she gnashes her teeth and snarls at anyone who might be a competitor in "poverty"

People like RSM's biggest gripe seems to be other's who experienced awful poverty now living comfortably. Like you're not allowed to make your situation better? How dare someone tries to be more than they were!

It's bitter jealously and shows her up. She just wants to take and complain. People who have bettered their situation just shows up grifters like her.

(Just want to add, I'm not a Tory bastard who believe anyone can work, nope, but anyone can better their circumstances, not financially, mentally is what I'm talking about. Staying in a pit of misery, blaming other's, refusing to help yourself, and relishing in your pity party will never get you far in life.)

Exactly, everybody can help somebody, you just need to find what you can do. The smallest, most random gestures of kindness are worth the most.

Apparently she is going to explain what it’s like to be poor (because other people don’t know) and then there will be no more poor ness.

It’s poverty porn for people on Twitter who have never experienced actual poverty (and also possibly written by people who have never experienced actual poverty). Think of it as a creative writing exercise. It won’t achieve anything except give people like Owen Jones and Ash Sarkar something to reference i.e ‘the most important book you’ll read this century’ etc. etc. Anyone who is in real poverty doesn’t need a book like this, they need real solutions (and I don’t mean just in the form of benefits). Any MP who is interested in helping ‘poor’ people will already know about the stuff she’s writing about and the MP’s who don’t care won’t read it. It will achieve nothing except to give RSM a big fat bank balance.
