I know next to nothing about travellers so please excuse my ignorance, but wouldn’t setting up and moving a caravan all the time be a massive ball ache for someone who has ME as severe as she claims she does?
As for the gypsy/Roma thing, I tend to think she was more of a new age style traveller. I doubt she has any family links to the travelling community seeing as one of her grandparents was a Tory councillor.

I'm relatively sure she developed ME at the end of 2019 after a nasty virus she blamed on her children for bringing home from school. Just before the pandemic.
As for being a traveller, my personal theory is that Roadside Dad is an actual traveller and she adopted the identity when she entered into a relationship with him.
