That is so much better "value" than the £8million properties further up the thread. Loads of potential as a venue etc.

That’s what i picture a country estate to look like. I loved the gardens.

Ah what an amazing house!
The livechat button on the Savills website made me laugh 'would you like to arrange a viewing' 😂 😂

Yes sure, I'm only £22.5m short of the purchase price but I'm sure I can rustle that up somehow :ROFLMAO:

I’ve even less than that 😂 I’d love a viewing and I can see exactly how I would use the spaces.

My new house came with an ‘entertainers barn’ not quite sure what that’s code for

Hopefully this works. Some interesting decor choices.
I'd redecorate the sitting room and put in a new kitchen. Perhaps look at dividing the huge bedroom into two, seeing as the corresponding room downstairs was previously two, going by the two fireplaces.

I feel like the owner is some kind of musician and plays little gigs in the main reception room (hence the disco lights!)

Also did you note the 'vendor is leaving furniture and white goods. This is non negotiable' - I've never seen that before (certainly not re furniture being left like it or not! I suppose on the plus side there isn't that much furniture 😂 )

They must be moving abroad? There's a few worrying comments about work the vendor has done too. I like the shower over the middle of the bath other than that I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole!

Ah yes I missed the bit about indemnity insurance being required, that's a massive red flag!

The shower head thing is really cool BUT I imagine is a massive ballache if anything goes wrong with it, or you need to descale it or anything.

Needs a little work.

It's gorgeous, but there's one big problem with it - there's no proper access to it, all the land around it is owned by someone else, and while he'll allow access to make repairs necessary for safety reasons, he won't allow access for any other building work. So unless whoever buys it can convince him to change his mind, it can't be brought back into use.

This is not far from me. Would be very interesting to see this converted to a house but it’s in the middle of a massive forest, on a hill, with no road 😳 only accessible on foot, but don’t worry there is a parking lay by at the bottom 😂

Wrote my comment before I saw this! Do you know why it’s not owned as part of the rest of the castle estate? Assuming that’s what the rest of the land is
