In need of just a BIT of refurbishment...

Oh I love that! The price is amazing as well. My daughter has just spent twice that on a small three bed middle terrace.

Grade 2 listed plus there is a 25% kick back to the owner if the plot of land is developed

anyone else find the armchair (I presume) covered with a red blanket ominous? :ROFLMAO: and the bathroom with the curtain thing reminded me of a catholic church confessional booth :ROFLMAO: The whole place reminds me of somewhere that has been the site of some awful crime, especially for how isolated it is

Basically should the buyer decide to develop the plot of land at any point within the next 25 years then they have to give 25% of the profit to the current seller

Is this a usual thing??
It's relatively common when there is a bit of and that could be developed but the seller doesn't want to risk a failed planning application. Certainly something to be aware of if buying a property that could be split into flats or something with a corner plot that can have a house added to the side

The freezer light is still on, so does that mean someone has been/is still living there?! 😱

I think overages should be stopped. Imho they’re basically saying “I can’t be arsed to develop the land but if you decided to do the work then I want part of the profits!” Develop it yourself or sell and let go. They want both their cake and to eat it.

The kettle is plugged in too. The kitchen looks fairly functional. I wonder if the recent occupants just used a few rooms and shut off the worst ones.

Anyone fancy living in a Ladybird Book Fairytale house (only spoiled by a weirdly modern bathroom)? BYO spinning wheel

Gives me the shudders and I’m usually up for stuff like that. And so odd having the completely out of character bathroom.

If it was possible to buy both houses, then it might be worth it but both houses are empty so potentially you'd be living next to a squat or drug den

Wtf...how did that happen to the brickwork/render bit along the front? Have people just been nicking random bits of it over the years?!
That’s what I was thinking?? Or from gun fire or an actual fire? 😅 all great options 😄
