That's just stunning! The only thing that would annoy me would be having to carry everything out of the kitchen, across the atrium, and then up a flight of stairs to the dining room if you were entertaining.

I have just looked it up on street view too. Front has lots of hedging, for privacy.

Inside does not look lived in, especially that kitchen! I know homes have to be presented in a pristine fashion and all that, but the worktops could show a sign of life somewhere.

My ex lived in a studio a bit like this in his late teens/ early 20s. He told me the shower room was no bigger than than a wardrobe - think caravan size bathroom shower one side end, basically the width of the room, loo the other side, sink in the middle, and a sliding door. There's probably no photo because the room is so tiny.

I stayed at a hotel once, and that arrangement was the “en suite”!

A friend used to live on a boat in New Islington. I think they paid about £100 a month for the mooring and then there was a weird electricity card they had to pay for which they didn't like.

Is the area known as 'upper class/posh'? because I could understand then even though it is dated af.

Not in particular. It's a quaint village in the Cambridge fens but it's not particularly close to Cambridge (commutable but no more so than other villages where you could get the same property for much less) or anything special.
