I feel like the overly modern kitchen spoils this - although the meat hooks in the dining room ceiling are very offputting, not sure I could cope with those, however much they are an original feature!

My friend had to do this years ago when her husband left her. the kids got 1 room each, the au pair another room and she got the sofa in the lounge.

What's with the artistic close up shots of the shell and wooden ball? Beautiful house but strange choices to put on the listing. Like do they come with the house?! It's beautiful but chaotic. I couldn't deal with that living/kitchen/bedroom set up.

Looks like it was a holiday home rental, with all the quirky impractical stuff and random areas (pic 22? - is that the sulking corner?)
