You can tell there was no other point to that story, except to say, 'Look at me, I'm breastfeeding in the street!'. Recipe stuff added on as an afterthought.
I'm usually all for freedom of choice and feeding baby anywhere, anytime he/she has a need. However am I alone in finding it really distasteful to video oneself breast feeding?

I'm an advocate for #fedisbest but generally the best bit about feeding, regardless of whether it's breast or bottle, is being able to look down at your beautiful offspring and creating a moment of bonding. This is just completely and utterly underminded by talking into a camera recording an insta story. It's disrespectful to the baby, the act and blessing of being able to feed and highlights a complete lack of understanding how important face to face contact is during feeding.

She might think she's reaching a wider audience now but I think she's isolating a small percentage of women who are surviving infertility. She's over exposing aspects of her life to stay in focus but I don't think what she's sharing is doing her image any benefit.

If she, in her position with her own successful business and husband who is financially stable, isn't able to take a break from work/social media after birth, then I find that extremely sad. I feel sorry for her having to maintain a polished image instead of just being (a bedraggled, sleep deprived, hormonal new mummy but, regardless, just being and relishing life's simple and short-lived pleasures).

She is so snobby it’s unreal! She posted the other day that they shouldn’t put calories on menus because 1. It can trigger people with eating disorders (valid point) and also that without a nutrition degree how could you possibly understand the calories

Totally agree. Some adults have never seen the sea! And yes, a baby doesn’t care...just take them to the bath. But then again she is probably desperate to take him to the sea so she can post “cute” family pictures of him at the sea and get more engagement.

why is her life always so difficult? Even when she does try and share some of the positives it’s always like fucking Groundhog Day! Or it’s a negative thing and then she tries to put a positive spin on it.

STOP BEING A NARCISSIST

Giving advice on weaning now, after being a mother for all of 5 minutes. No doubt she’s trying to do a Joe Wicks and diversify her brand, especially given she’s teamed up with his guru....wonder how her advice will differ now
It would be ok if she was putting out the advice as a nutritionist only but posting it with a picture of her and her new baby makes it seem like she’s trying to be the expert with all of 3 weeks parenting under her belt??

This woman is a fucking arsehole. Can’t believe I ever liked her, she’s just obsessed with getting a bit of fame. Why must every person On insta who has a baby suddenly think they are some kind Of oracle. Fuck off with your patronising shit. And the post where she was giving her postpartum ‘reality’ was pathetic-literally a list of everything women are told about after birth,no new information there. I hate when they try to seem relatable-walking about with your tit out and a smoothie doesn’t make you relatable,it makes you look like an attention seeking cunt (very pro choice when it comes to feeding and happy for women to get their boobs out to feed whenever baby needs it but these dickheads just make it seem so contrived, almost like ‘hang on Timmy, I know you are hungry but mummy has to get her smoothie and make herself look presentable before I can feed you’

don’t know why I torture myself looking at these peoples feeds ffs it just gives me the rage
ugh yes I agree! When you pull back and examine the reality of these photo she’s taken just for the purposeof her channel it’s just sick! The tit out when lying in bed would have had her husband standing over her trying to take the perfect angle, and the boomerang.. waiting for people to walk past, get the baby at the right angle, make sure I look cute. It’s just messed up. Feed your baby however you want, get your husband to document the success of managing to get out of the house and enjoy a smoothie, and capture those quiet moments between mother and son as you get to know each other. But for gods sake stop selling your soul (and your sons privacy) for likes when this has nothing to do with your nutrition business.

Her sneaky placement of the word ‘ad’ is annoying me. Also hate anyone who has been a mother for five minutes thinking they are an oracle. Also sick of breastfeeding influencers constantly posting pictures of them feeding (not against breastfeeding but why does it always need to go onto Instagram-you can feed your child and enjoy the bond without posting a photo you know!)

Get ready for her becoming even more preachy and pretentious now that she is writing ‘THE encyclopaedic book on nutrition’. Funny how she wants to be seen as the authority on everything nutrition but when it came to weaning her own child, she went against nhs guidelines and weaned him early and spread misinformation about signs of readiness.

Why has she written zacharys name as if a child has written it? Zac is 14 months old so obviously can’t write his own name so you would just write it normally wouldn’t you?

I don’t think it’s the lack of money stopping her from taking a break, it’s business visibility. Nutrition is an overcrowded field and if she lets up on the content people will follow her competitors. She’s used her image very heavily in the marketing of her business which has paid dividends, the downside is she can’t stop or let someone else do it as her followers are invested in her personally. People rave about all these women earning money via insta - girl bosses etc I don’t get it. So glad I have a boring office job which finishes at 5pm. No way would I have been able to make a bloody cake with my son in newborn son. Completely unrealistic.

I hope you have posted a picture of you wearing them to Instagram otherwise what’s the point?! 😂 congratulations on your new addition!!!

I don't have children but I've never really understood why you would brag either way about how you feed your baby? Also, again having not had children and therefore know minimal about this, isn't it really difficult or impossible for some women to breastfeed? Due to conditions, inability to just etc. Can imagine it must be great for those women to get a daily dose of guilt from these Instagram mums.

It really annoys me when people over sing nursery rhymes! It’s round and round the garden it’s not that deep!
But she trained as an opera singer don't cha know?! 🙄...just leave the poor boy to eat in peace- performative parenting at its worst

I reported the coconut water ad to the ASA. Their guidelines clearly say that the 'ad' needs to be upfront and prominent, which this certainly isn't. I'm just fed up of her getting away with this, it's not the first time she's done it.

I did initially mention to Rhiannon that she might want to consider editing it as it's not very clear and could be misleading to followers. She blocked me, of course.

And now she’s claiming to have had post partum psychosis! I’m sorry but having worked with numerous mothers who have actually suffered from it, I very much doubt she’d have been able to be posting on social media within days of Z’s birth if she truly had it!

Also felt the need (again) to state boob feed just in case we’d forgotten she breast feeds!

Her latest banana bread post, she looks seriously unwell. So gaunt. She's clearly not coping well

She bakes so much but she can't possibly eat it all? She's so obsessive as well about Zachary's diet.

I feel like a lot of Instagram PTs/nutritions actually just have a really fucked up relationship with food and are actually just foisting their disordered eating habits on vunerable people

There’s obviously going to be a super pretentious pregnancy/post-partum/baby weaning type book or podcast coming out soon. She is monetising her baby the same way she monetised her pregnancy. Children sell. Especially babies. The engagement to her page is probably massive right now. This is a very cleverly contrived marketing strategy.

I used to really love her podcasts, but slowly realised how beggy she was for fame on insta. All them London health influencer pages all slowly blend into one and it becomes commercialised and boring. I unfollowed quite some time ago and stopped listening to her podcasts too, same with deliciously Ella.
Deliciously Ella is deliciously irritating and painful
