What gets me is how the hell the nutrition circles haven’t pulled her up or to one side about the unnecessary photo editing to look even thinner. It doesn’t look good; it looks sick.
She reminds me of Karen Carpenter when she was so poorly. One of the main issues at that clinic is that Rhi is also scarily gaunt looking. These women are young mothers and in the case of Sophie is only just over a month since giving birth; we’ve already seen her undertaking exercise in a speeded up video clip that made me feel anxious just watching and her comments that she really needed to do that. What she really needs is to nourish herself appropriately, stop posting full length photos of herself with tiny teeny arms and legs at angles designed to make them even smaller. It’s extremely damaging.

I was not at all impressed when she posted a full length bikini shot of herself on her Rhitrition page. For people struggling with an ED it would have been very triggering to see. She got her separate account for this self indulgent shit and it should stay there. I used to like her so much, but since she’s transitioned to patronising yummy mummy she’s becoming insufferable to watch.

I first found Rhi through her podcast and followed along for nutrition advice. The more I see the more I question the advice as I’m not sure she has a healthy relationship with food

I don’t think it’s the lack of money stopping her from taking a break, it’s business visibility. Nutrition is an overcrowded field and if she lets up on the content people will follow her competitors. She’s used her image very heavily in the marketing of her business which has paid dividends, the downside is she can’t stop or let someone else do it as her followers are invested in her personally. People rave about all these women earning money via insta - girl bosses etc I don’t get it. So glad I have a boring office job which finishes at 5pm. No way would I have been able to make a bloody cake with my son in newborn son. Completely unrealistic.
haha I reckon! Now with my one week old I was quite pleased with myself to get some previously prepared frozen cookie dough in the oven 😂

It’s like they need people to realise they’re pregnant and not fat. So disordered!

And the big reveal is… she’s writing another book on the science of nutrition! So no doubt just ripping off the NHS website again and charging for it. Amazed DK have commissioned this tbh!

Gifted pram out today....undeclared of course.
I do wonder why these companies bother, although it’s such a recognisable brand probably just been featured is enough for them they’re not bothered if she declares it or not

SO GLAD SOMEONE ELSE NOTICED!!! When her book came out I was like...based on your page boo boo...these are not your creations. She has zero creativity in the kitchen and knows nothing about recipe development.
Which is why I don’t understand why companies like daisy green and heck sausages would use her when they are way better people suited to the task.

She said she wasn’t popular in school...who knows...but that doesn’t surprise me...which is likely why she goes so hard with the narcissism and fame seeking now. To show her past bullies or nemeses that “I’ll show you” routine that loads of people with similar backgrounds have. Thing is...they're still empty inside.
I bought her book 😭 I really liked her from the podcasts and was a little disappointed when I saw what she looked like (tiny and fake as people have so kindly put it) but decided I shouldn’t really judge my opinion of her based on her looks. Well seems my gut was right.
I’ll admit that I don’t know a thing about social media marketing so maybe I’m just being an idiot, but I don’t understand why she doesn’t have a separate business page for the clinic. Her account is a bit of a weird mix between all her personal stuff and then clinic stuff too.

I totally get the reasons for her to have a personal presence online but I would have thought it’d make sense to build the business up without her as well. Clearly she’s trying to go down the influencer route but influencers don’t last forever. Especially now she’s going on and on about motherhood - how are posts on her birth experience relevant to anyone who wants nutrition advice? She doesn’t even have a link to her clinics website in her bio. No mention of the other nutritionists based there either.
thats the thing. Why are we seeing all this non nutrition content. (Well it’s because that’s how you get followers people generally want to follow people not businesses). But I came to her insta to learn about better nutrition, not be baited about her shit birth story. (And I’m only being crass here because I gave birth just 3 days ago also traumatic but also great, but stop using your private life to further your business)

lastly, her latest story with her son just made me laugh cause he looks like he is just staring in to space thinking he is so sick of his mums fake bull shit socular media. I’d meme it but that’d be weird.

She also required people to leave a podcast review in order to enter the competition she ran recently. Today she announced that the winner was chosen “based on their review and support” i.e. whoever left her the most suck up 5* review.
This woman has absolutely zero shame

Some of the best podcasts I listen to get mortified to even ask listeners to leave a review, never mind begging for a five star!

anyone asking for a five star review goes down in my estimation because either a) they are so arrogant that they actually believe it warrants that which is just a turn off or b) they are happy for people to lie and give it five stars in which case any Credibility they may have had has gone straight out the window.

off topic but James Smith was complaining that some ‘trolls’ had left one star reviews and was asking people to leave five stars to counteract this-how did he know it was trolls and not just some people thinking his book was shite?
His groupies probably did exactly as he asked...

It must be an exhausting life when all you can think of when you look at someone else's plate is 'imagine the calories' or 'those portions look too big'. She can't help but pass judgement, makes you wonder what she's like in her clinic.

Didn't see her comments about screen time but I'm sick of it being demonised. My son gets screen time when we need 10 minutes to do something, and he's also starting to sit down and watch things with us. He's been watching the Olympics with us this week, shouting GO GO GO! when the athletes set off. It's not all passive zombies zoning out in front of a cartoon, I'll always maintain there's a lot to be gained by watching TV if you're sensible about it with kids.

Hahaha it’s only going to get worse……
I thought she was so so so overworked. How come she’s managed to go on holiday?
and finally her little boy has seen the sea. I wonder how much it’s changed his life….(anyone else remember how she was complaining lock down had ruined her life because he hadn’t seen the sea?)

This woman is a fucking arsehole. Can’t believe I ever liked her, she’s just obsessed with getting a bit of fame. Why must every person On insta who has a baby suddenly think they are some kind Of oracle. Fuck off with your patronising shit. And the post where she was giving her postpartum ‘reality’ was pathetic-literally a list of everything women are told about after birth,no new information there. I hate when they try to seem relatable-walking about with your tit out and a smoothie doesn’t make you relatable,it makes you look like an attention seeking cunt (very pro choice when it comes to feeding and happy for women to get their boobs out to feed whenever baby needs it but these dickheads just make it seem so contrived, almost like ‘hang on Timmy, I know you are hungry but mummy has to get her smoothie and make herself look presentable before I can feed you’

don’t know why I torture myself looking at these peoples feeds ffs it just gives me the rage
Totally agree about the postpartum reality post. I haven't had a baby, I'm not really close with anyone who's had a baby, I have no reason to know that much about motherhood, yet none of her 'shocking' realities about postpartum life were surprising to me. I've always found her pretty insufferable but her having a baby brings that to a whole new level.

No doubt it will be a childcare book or a mum and baby retreat where she can share her pearls of wisdom and people have to pay for it.
She is so skinny and personally, as someone who has struggled with ED in the past I find her incredibly triggering (hence why I have now unfollowed her, and the fact she just isn't relevant anymore) but im sure if I went to see her in clinic I would be incredibly triggered by her.
All her nutrition advice can be found on NHS websites if you look hard enough. I don't need anyone to tell me one size doesn't fit all or whatever her stupid catch phrase used to be

👋HI RHIANNON!
always an answer for everything

Thanks for the recaps I couldn’t bring myself to listen as I was afraid it would be too triggering for me. Everyone has their own perception of what a traumatic birth is, it can be straight forward and still traumatic or overly complicated and women can deal well with it.

my issue with this is her saying one thing and doing another. If her birth was so traumatic that she needed counselling she wouldn’t be breast feeding on street corners, baking banana bread or doing a damn podcast so soon after her experience. I am 3 weeks post partum and only really coming to terms with my birth experience (and I thought everything was great for the first week until I came down off the hormones) and will probably do some kind of talking therapy down the line. I know everyone is different and deals with things in their own way but I call bullshit to her story. It’s all just narcissistic to get attention
