Yes they are guidelines, not rules. She has done everything properly. Tested before and after travelling. And also how do you know if her travel in necessary are not? She is staying a few months not a short 2 week holiday. People are travelling over and back from the UK all the time at weekends without quarantining. It's about weighing up the risks. She is no risk to anyone.




Also, why would she need to be escorted of the plane to a bus and a hotel?? FFS She doesn't have Ebola like! And if she did , wouldn't that put her in contact with more people? People have literally lost all common sense !

Nobody should be travelling internationally during a pandemic, unless it is an absolute emergency.

If people are travelling over and back from the UK "all the time without quarantining", then they are in complete denial about Covid.

As much as I hate that they left NY to head back to Kerry in the middle of a pandemic when people are being strongly advised not to travel I wouldn't be too concerned about Tommy being on his own!! He is a grown man after all, we all know he can cook and I'm sure he knows plenty of people.
I'm sure he'll be grand. Didn't they do long distance when he was in San Fran.
I don't really see why this is an issue .

Cue crocodile tears from Erika when Tommy can't fly over for Christmas, and she's stuck in Ireland because the flight restrictions are changed in January with Biden coming in.
I'd say the mother is an absolute tyrant - making them promise to always come home for Christmas..that's fine during normal times if you have the money, but hello, we're in a fucking pandemic? The privilege and selfishness just jumps out with this family.

This pandemic is really showing who hasn't an ounce of altruism in them..sure, you can get a flight and travel if you want, but it's not the right thing to do.

Erika would want to be careful with what she decides to do re. travelling for Christmas - I'm going to assume her Irish followers won't take kindly to her flouting restrictions or going against what the CMO says. That jewelry drop isn't going to do well anyway, but it'll tank completely if she shows how entitled and selfish she is

I think anyone should be allowed to come home (or go home) for Christmas, and I hate to think we now live in a world where we judge people for wanting to see their families after a tough year. I know the Foxs have had a privileged year by most people’s standards sitting in their swanky apartments with their boyfriends (my husband and I live in different countries due to our careers so this year has been our worst nightmare) but as long as they behave rationally and responsibly I think it’s acceptable. Limit movements and contacts before they fly, negative test and 5 days quarantine but then not taking the piss - still limiting contacts, no massive catchups etc. I suppose bc they are reading here we will only see the “curated” trip and not what really is going on. Anything to do with the jewellery line would be a joke though.

Also her target audience is so clearly high earner UES professional New Yorkers who spend their summer weekends in the Hamptons and their winter weekends upstate. She’s very clearly moving away from being relatable to her Irish followers.
