The fact that Steve is quite happy to now go and do whatever he can on the land and doesn't have a proper job (that we are aware of) just shows he was only where he was because of his Dad.
Any self respecting professional in his position would have been snapped up elsewhere and more importantly would have wanted to continue in their career within another company.
Rebecca saw money signs when she met Steve, hence chased him. Their lives are a million miles apart from what they were 2 years ago. No wonder they both look as miserable as sin.
They might have a £400k house but that's literally ALL they have, probably every penny of her contract with Channel Mum and any ads go straight to the mortgage and are left with very little else, hence they shop in Aldi and the only place she generally shops for clothes is ebay and primark.
They want to give off the vibe they have money when in fact they don't, the only new things they have are gifted, they have half a sofa for christ sake, she's painted everything to within an inch of its life and then she calls it upcycling, I mean she has a cupboard displaying what she thinks will make people jealous but it has fucking massive holes in the back and hopes people won't notice. I could go on......
They are certainly not people I would look at and be jealous of in a million years. I'd rather my £220k house in the middle of a village, I drive a decent car, have clothes on my back, my 2 boys want for nothing and certainly get everything before myself and my husband, they sleep on actual beds (and a cot) that I have paid for and i have a full fucking sofa.

I fucking LOATHE blanket statements like this. They're dismissive and thoughtless. Smiling doesn't fix everyone's problems, and actually for a lot of people things don't work out.
Not everyone feels like they have something to smile and feel happy about.
If it was as simple as keeping positive and smiling there would be no depression or suicide in the world.

2) You always have something new to be obsessed over but never have enough determination to see it through or do it properly.
3) You have low self esteem and fill that void by seeking validation from strangers on the internet
4) You are not very comfortable financially
5) You don't do anything good with your following. No charity work or raising of awareness for anything that matters
6) You regret buying the house you're in and wish you lived somewhere more modern and instagrammable.
