Not necessarily, my daughter is diagnosed autistic and couldn’t do this at 18 months. She’s 4 and has only started really speaking within the last year, she has only just started pointing to things too. If she is having problems with speech clearly there is something going on, I don’t think we should compare to other kids because she may have additional needs, this is one thing that annoys me as a parent of a neurodiverse child, the they should be doing this and that, we already know and it’s really heartbreaking. I don’t know if Rebecca takes much notice or wants to take any action in regards to this but she definitely should if there is an issue

According to Dingle and Beaver their children don't have additional needs. So that is what I/we comment on. Yes a child that has additional needs or is suspected of having a condition may struggle with communication, but like I said according to them, their kids do not and they are not worried. So if big mandy isn't doing things that a child without additional needs can do, (which she doesn't)I think that is a cause for concern. But they are ignorant and in denial. Despite having been through it with alfeh who is clearly delayed and only started talking clearly when he was about 5/6.

If you were not comparing your child to another child/children, how would you even suspect that there was an issue? It's not always done from judgement and spite, it can be from concern! This is why these development reviews are in place, they come from studying other children , so comparisons what kids can/cannot do have to be made to diagnose them. When your child is assessed they are literally compared to what a typical child the same age can/cannot do!

When you parade your kids on the internet, people will have opinions and make comparisons. Sorry but they do when they are shoved in everyone's faces. That is just how it is. Most parents safe guard vulnerable children, not try and turn them into money making projects. If she was not shown every minute of the day then no comparisons could be made.

Personally I think her oldest and youngest do have additional needs but that opinion has also been slated on here.

And when I comment I am only ever talking about what she shows, nobody else's kids because the thread is about them. So please don't take it personally, and I am sorry if you feel targeted.

Imagine being 30 years old & having no achievements to your name, nothing to offer the world. Literally nothing going for yourself. She’s not even a good mum! I’d have a little bit more respect for her if she was a SAHM who actually engaged with her children, encouraged them with any activity they enjoy, pushed them to try new things & be better. But she can’t even cook a decent meal or help them with primary school homework! God help them when they’re in high school, imagine her trying to figure out algebra, trigonometry, basic physics & biology! I’d love to see her attempting to read some Shakespeare. She can’t even complete a modern book.

Not everyone is academic, not everyone has high powered jobs or a career. Some people are less intelligent, some people are more. Doesn't make them bad people or necessarily "Thick" or stupid. They have other talents. I hope this doesn't sound patronising cos its not meant to be. My point is - even those who aren't so intelligent can still be fantastic parents because they make an effort. They WANT their children to do better than them! They offer them opportunities, play with them, take them places and talk to them. They encourage them to work hard at school even if they reach a point where they can no longer help with homework.
Begy is thick as a plank but she also doesn't give a shit about her kids and their development. She doesn't even TRY. She's lazy. Any support the kids are offered, she takes as a personal insult and declares nothing is needed. She's the WORST type of parent. She regularly takes them out of school during term time disrupting learning, they never socialise with kids their own age, just HER friends' kids, and Beaver is just as bad. There's no after school activities- no cubs, football, no having friends over after school. Just because you're not the brightest spark doesn't mean you can't be a fab parent. You just have to make the effort. Rebecca had 2 kids to trap her partner and Woody was a meal ticket. She couldn't make her lack of interest in her boys more obvious- won't so much as buy them a football and their clothes are like dirty rags. But SHE has botox, her hair and nails done, facials fat reducing treatments etc ALL the time. She's just a really vile horrible woman with not a nurturing bone in her body.

I think Steve got a job in Hornsea cause he couldnt get one close to where they lived in the Dales and stayed at his mums , he worked all week then went home on a weekend .She had to look after the kids by herself all week hence the tears and upset all the time . They had the house valued to sell so she can move to Hornsea to be with him fulltime
