I first felt there was something off about her a few months ago, not long after Daniel passed away, when she shared on her stories that someone had said she should be on the Late Late Show, her followers started this little campaign and she kept sharing their stories but tagging RTÉ and Ryan Tubridy herself. She was desperate to get their attention, it was the first time I felt there was another agenda at play. Haven’t found her particularly likeable since, and I feel bad for saying it cos I do have a huge amount of sympathy for her and her daughters but it’s all been a bit too “try hard”. The silly giggling girl next door act is wearing thin, she’s obviously a smart woman so why not act like one
I remember that she was all excited trying to get people to hashtag her name to get on the late late show! She’s seriously desperate for fame! Daniel dying is just her back story to get a leg in the door!

I’d say the only thing she’s upset about right now is that jac jossa & Dan Osborne haven’t followed her

So I went back on her page to find the black sack thing ye are all talking about and couldn’t see it, is it deleted or was it on stories? But what I did see was her first post after she shared Daniel had passed, literally 10 days later there is a picture of their shared bed which she calls the “master bedroom” and she’s listing all of the things she wants to redo and get done, zero mention of Daniel. Jesus I know I said before that everyone grieves differently but I found that odd now. I don’t think I’d even be able to look at the bed we shared never mind take a picture of it and upload it to Instagram and list all of the things I want to change about it. I don’t want to come across like I’m being nasty about someone who has suffered immense loss but the more I read the more things don’t look right or add up. She seems a nice girl but I think her intention all along was for some kind of insta fame.. why would she change her account name even Mrs Hinch never did that and she has 4m followers.

Guys I think we need to put a line under all this and stop with all the giving out. Rachel made a huge mistake, she was ill advised and the people close to her should of stepped in and stopped her, unfortunately for Rachel- her mam & sister are loving all the attention so that’s never going to happen. Rachel is extremely vulnerable right now and she not the first person to make a terrible decision, I certainly don’t agree with what she done and what she does daily for insta but look at the bigger picture! I can’t help but feel for her vulnerability.
Yes she made a mistake but I feel she needs to at least acknowledge it......

If Rachel herself caught the virus (which I sincerely hope she doesnt) how traumatic would that be for the girls so soon after their dads death. Everytime those girls turn around they are being told to wash their hands, cough into elbow, distance etc like all schoolkids at the moment. All kids are hearing about is covid, covid, covid and she heads off on a jolly. No, not good enough!!!
If one of those girls caught covid and ended up in hospital (touches all wood in sight) they'd be in there alone. Can you even imagine how utterly HORRIFIC that would be for any child. They've been through athe hell of a lot. Stay at home with your girls Rachel, they need you

Excatly this and Rachel clearly has no respect for all the extremely vulnerable people in Ireland who are petrified of this virus.

Im trying not to be too hard on her, as I said in an earlier post everyone grieves differently and we shouldn’t judge her grieving process because it’s not how wee grieve. After I lost my mum and I went away girls weekend and through myself info re decorating by lounge, it was all a distraction. The throwing herself into insta at the beginning was clearly that and in the early days she was getting a few free gifts etc. The decisions she is making these days are however wrong. There is no excuse for attending that launch event. I posted that I was pleased she was enjoying a night out but when I saw what she was doing and where she was I thought Jesus Christ what is she doing! I now think she is trying to become some sort of celebrity and that’s the path she is going down. This is the time she needs concentrate on her girls x

She deleted the black sack post because she got messages that it was inappropriate. I could be wrong but I'm nearly sure that was a few days after they buried Daniel. She defended herself and said if it made her and the girls smile then why shouldn't she do it which is fair enough. However as someone said above she also try to get it trending. She might break it out again for Halloween. She did look great in the black sack costume she made.

Brian Dowling has deleted and negative comments from the live. Anyone who commented getting called a troll. Little sweet Rachel hasn't a care in the world. Everyone saying she was poorly advised like she some dummy, I bet she was also advised by at least 1 person not to go to the event. Look what she choose. It was her choice to go. She wants to be Instagram famous. She is star struck by the likes of rosie etc. The tide will turn on her as will the adoring public.
Live away in their little bubble of make believe fantasy land! But when it all comes crashing down what a train wreck that’s going to be. It’s the knock on casualties I have the most sympathy for. The children. They are so vulnerable, not just Rachel’s children but all the kids of these instahuns. Rachel is a dim wit with half a brain. Poor Daniel must be turning in his grave at her carry on

As much as i agree with you fully.

I dont think anyone has the right to use the term "turning in his grave" I know its an expression used. But just abit hurtful and unfair to other family members reading this chat, I would be very upset seeing that being wrote online about someone I knew.

She is a selfish woman. Nothing she has done since all this started has been normal. She was getting tagged before he died and I went on for a look and she was modelling her hospital fashion. He was terminally ill and actively dying. Wtf. This account wasn't for me. This isn't a distraction for her. It's who she is. She's shallow. Some people are. They really are only out for number 1.
This, nail on the head 👌

I actually find her approach to Instagram quite odd. I understand there is a small fortune to be made from ads, partnerships etc... but how she went about it is disgusting!! I have had someone recently pass away in my family and the thought of actually documenting it and subsequently earning money from it says an awful lot about that person. It's clear that she always wanted to be an influencer and she saw an opportunity albeit a very sad, harrowing and distasteful opportunity and grabbed it at the expense of her husband's death and 3 children's grief. I look on her page every now and again and I come away with a sick feeling in my tummy.
