I think she's been shady over whether it's proceeds/profits from the shop going to the centre as well. If she's paying all her staff good salaries to run the shop, doing lots work to the buildings, buying loads of stock etc then nothing is going to be left for the centre. I still wonder if Emily realised she was "running" the centre with no actual funding from the shop coming across and started asking questions.She's been careful about how she's worded everything. The PayPal etc was always "to support me in doing what I love", at no point has she explicitly said that it would be directly helping women who have been abused. The shop money is "to support the centre", well that could just be going towards the rent and bills, and making sure there's always lush coffee available. She talks a lot of waffle to make it sound like she's doing something, when in reality she's not lifting a finger.
She gets Jo to knock up a fake email every now and then to pretend it's a social worker or something, telling her how lush she is, and how much difference she's making to anyone who's ever had the good fortune to cross her path etc, which the brainless morons who still throw money at her believe.

I'm sure she said / I read on here that it was Cave Vets which is a bit closer than the Bristol one. My dog was admitted at the Bristol one too, and they certainly didn't charge for water or updates.My cat was in the same specialist vet in Bristol last summer (I assume the same as it’s the only specialist veterinary hospital in the area!). Not once was I charged for water or for when I rang them! So she’s either lying (probably) or they can’t stand her either so added on a bit more to piss her off (hopefully!)
