Yes that stayed with me too - it would almost certainly have been fairly recent, recent enough to not be the cause of death, though it would have contributed. From my understanding it’s very hard for that injury to happen accidentally.Thanks I was just thinking how fatal that is and a baby would not survive that so this must be what caused the respiratory failure
I’ve only seen it reported by Manchester Live I think, but it’s unlikely to be a reporting error in my opinion as it’s such a harrowing piece of information. Who would get that wrong?
It will come out in the trial I expect. Surely the prosecution will call the pathologist?
