Absolutely! The year group he was teaching, year 11 spends a lot of time educating teenagers about the dangers of taking and sharing intimate photographs. My teenager has acne. The surgery asked me to send photos of his acne and sent me a link to upload them. I sent photos of his back, chest and thighs and received a response that they had deleted the images as they contained intimate photographs of a child and the doctor would call me. The GP rang me a short while afterwards, and I explained and everything was fine. It is just not plausible that JV would take photographs of Preston’s intimate areas of a baby for medical professionals.

I haven’t followed many trials but when I do, I always think that cross examination is such an art form. I love it when innocent phrases like “I think we got there eventually” hint at the defendant being obtuse or dancing around answering a question. I’m in awe of that kind of intellect and quick thinking. Not to mention, like you say, the sheer satisfaction of watching a terrible person get skewered.
It’s totally stomach churning, this is one of the worst baby CSA cases I’ve come across, it’s up there with poor Baby Brianna.As well as terrified, he must have been in agony and uncomfortable all the time with his little bottom. And throat..mouth. I think they’d even torn the part where your lip is joined to the gum. It kills meyou spend so much time worrying about how to keep them safe and happy at that age
What I don’t understand is that they couldn’t even manage to wait till he was “officially theirs” and the placement signed off - they started the abuse within days of him being there & it’s just escalated - I’m sure JV didn’t intend to kill him on the 27th, but all the abuse would have caught up with them sooner rather than later surely, there were still social workers involved, as lacklustre as they seemed - one of these hospital visits would be too many & then their jizzy show home would come falling down.

I was physically and SA from around the age of two by a close family member for years and he was so arrogant too, often being inappropriate around others but masking it as ‘messing about’
They really are audacious.
Whats really sad is that we had social workers too who did nothing and over 40 years on, nothing appears to have changed.
Yea my baby had chicken pox at 5 months old but we weren't sure that's what it was so spoke to GP because of his age too, the worst of it was around his groin but the GP specifically said do not send photos of that area!

They get carried away and obnoxious. Same with, and I hate to reference it because it’s nowhere near as appalling, shoplifters who start off with one small item and get bigger and bigger. They feel brave and cocky. These disgusting idiots couldn’t help themselves.

Apparently dentists are trained in CSA or they can tell from a child's mouth if abuse has occurred
I've decided after hearing the evidence today that, awful as it sounds, I'm glad Preston passed. I dread to think how much longer and worse it would have got for him. What if it had gone on for years? Would they have had to murder him before he gave them away when he got older? The psychological scars and the physical damage would have been forever. It seems things escalated quite severely in his last days.

The pic being sent from that paddling pool with the disgusting caption, and the fact that he was still naked hours later is breaking me was there any hour of any day where he wasn't preyed on for those whole 4 months I'm just devastated imagining him trying to convey to the social worker and JVs mother that things were really bad, and no one understanding this whole thing genuinely has me considering joining some sort of law enforcement! I want to drop pedos into wood chippers feet first. According to chatgpt there's no evidence that that would act as a deterrent, I think we should go ahead with it and collect some data

He wasn't allowed to contact work colleagues but tries to spin it that he thought they weren't allowed to talk to the media. He uses a name that he claims people used but clearly they didn't use much because he wanted to get to Janet discreetly to influence her.
I agree. As awful as it sounds, I’m glad he doesn’t have to live with the physical and mental scars of what they did to him.

I feel the same, even though I hate to say it. Because he deserved to live, and to be loved, the poor little pet.
He would have had a lifetime ahead of trying to recover from what he went through both physically and mentally. It is unbearable to think of the terrible pain he must have been in, and how afraid and uncomprehending he must have felt, all the time, around those monsters.

Something else interesting is he uses a lot of pleonasm. I have seen a lot of detectives speak about how liars often use this a lot because they think it makes them sound more honest. They'll say 'absolutely not' rather than just 'no', for example. If people are telling the truth, 'no' is enough, they don't feel the need to keep emphasising it.

Just reading back his questioning over him shouting boo, scaring Preston awake whilst he’s dropping off in his cot. Videoing it and sending it to JMF presumably around the time of the “this is your bleeping fault” text. He says it was videoed as evidence of how Preston would fight sleep??? Fighting sleep isn’t being startled awake by someone shouting at you? How thick does he think people are??

I have thought this myself too. Imagine how long the abuse would have gone on for before he was able to tell someone, if it all. I’m so glad those vile monsters can’t touch him anymore, let’s hope he’s resting peacefully in heaven
I took my four year old to the dentist recently, he’d had an accident at preschool a few days before and had a grazed chin, she asked how it happened and made a note of it. I completely understood why.
