Gosh I hadn't read this in the live reporting and thought the video had been released to the media then!The video of him between JV legs in the bath suffering from post asphyxia issues
My heart breaks for that poor baby.
I keep going back to the word "depraved"It’s hard to tell with this reporting who has taken these photos. If Preston is between JV’s legs () then has JMF taken the pic? It’s like they thought photographing the aftermath of their attacks (the fluid drool/struggling for breath) was a less risky memento from their attacks.
I don’t know why but the forcing his eyelid open to look at his eyes rolling back has particularly upset me. You panic if you’ve ever accidentally shocked or startled your babyor you put them in the swings and actually they cry or get upset so you either gently reassure and go slowly or you whip them out altogether. To spin him so forcefully that his eyes roll back and then to force them open to look at that and film it - absolute abject cruelty. It’s incomprehensible.
They tortured him every way possible - physically, psychologically and sexually

of child cruelty and murder There must be an inquiry afterwards and it must must must bring about change!!!
We all hope for that, but how many times have we heard ‘lessons will be learned’.
I used to work with vulnerable young children, and we had mandatory safe guarding training every year. We were told to always, always, place the child’s wellbeing first. Ask the awkward questions, think the unthinkable.
I’m sure this same training is repeated in every school, hospital, nursery etc.
Yet every year there are more awful cases to ‘learn from’ about babies/children who have been neglected/abused/tortured in the very place they should feel safe and loved

Agree with all of you and what you’re saying…. I feel so sorry for the jury, they must not be able to sleep at night, but it’s nothing compared to what little Preston went through.

JV’s defence KC was the prosecuting KC in the Lucy Letby trial. His name is Nicholas Edwards, he was known for his “Big Nick Energy” ON THE LL thread, for his intellect and cutting comments, this was shortened to BNE by the tattlers on the LL thread. He was a force of a prosecutor. In BNE I trust that JV will not be able to make any appeals on the basis of being inadequately represented in court. BNE is top of the field in KC circles, JV has one of the very best representing him.
Nick Johnson KC was the prosecution barrister in the Lucy Letby trial. “BNE” was a nickname people used for him there. Apologies, I had seen so many comments from people who were in the the Letby trial thread, that I assumed everyone would know who I meant. I should have been clearer.
When I saw he was also part of this trial I came here.
Any family members with children will have likely been referred to social care so they could consider any potential harm experienced by them and ensure there were safeguards in place in respect of their contact with them post Preston’s passing.

Sorry if this has been said as just catching up. But I think they definitely went through the adoption for that one sole purpose. (Especiaaly JV). I think they maybe gave themselves that year for the "prom" etc to educate themselves what to do and dangers if you know what I mean. They made sure they would be accepted first for adoption and what they should be doing etc. Sorry, this is so awful and like all of you I just wish I could have taken Preston and given him all the love and comfortThis is exactly how I feel, the abuse was pre planned.

In reality what happened? He recorded that video of him having an "episode", then likely preston came around a bit, he confirmed he wasn't dead then ducked off and left to text JF about selling a (kayak was it?) And in the meanwhile poor preston went downhill and died alone?

You know what. I hope he doesn't get a whole of life sentence. I hope he gets released in 20 years time, and a gang of vigilantes kidnap him and he meets the same fate as Preston over 4 months of hell.
