I have the silver cross Wayferer, slightly cheaper at
Around £750. It’s ever so heavy and bulky but that’s to be expected with silver cross as they’re better quality.

What prams have you all got / are looking at ?

this is our third baby but we didn’t really anticipate we’d have a third so after our daughter was born we sold basically all our baby stuff . We had a Ickle Bubba which was fine for our first two but really was all we could afford

but this time my dear Granny who is 92 has offered to pay for our pram . She said she never thought she’d get to see 1 great grandchild , let alone 3 , and is giving us £1000 towards our pram . Which is amazing !!!

I’ve always dreamed of having a Silver Cross and I think the Cove looks suitable for what we need but I’m just not sure . I’m only 13 weeks so have plenty of time to decide I suppose . But I’m just curious to see what everyone else has opted for and what you recommend ?
We got the Bugaboo Fox 5 for our first (who’s now 2) and still use it now! We also got the stand and adapter so the bassinet could be used as a Moses basket downstairs when he was a baby. My mum had the Ickle Bubba Stomp secondhand for when she was looking after our boy and much preferred our Fox because it was much lighter and easier to push. We’ve loved it so with Little Parsley’s little sibling due soon we’ve stuck with Bugaboo and got an old version of the Donkey off Facebook marketplace

You need to go test them out in store. Were going for the Ocarro 2 travel system this time round, also third baby. Ive had a silver cross and I hated it - was heavy, not very easy to store, rit on cobbles and off road - the smallest bit of mud it tried to tip over!! I hated it and it cost just over 2k 🤦🏽‍♀️ a cousin and two friends chose silver cross at the same time and they got rid after the first baby. I persevered with the second but no chance i was doing that again. We did buy them during covid so didnt go in store otherwise I dont think wed have all bought them.

I think though it does depend on your car, where you live/walk etc. We gave it to a baby bank I was told it went the same day so someone must have loved it

We have gone with the silver cross breeze! I loved that the bassinet folded too. We ordered the bundle which worked out cheaper - also not sure if there is a pram centre near you but they priced matched & managed to save over £200 which was good!

Got my results from gestational diabetes- negative so feeling positive! Countdown to finishing work. 8 weeks on Friday 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Booked a private scan for Monday as a birthday treat to myself. Very excited to see the little baba again 🥰

I think it depends on what kind of area you live in, how often you will be driving with the baby and how big your car is.

I got a Joie travel system with my first. It was fine for going on walks locally but if I had to keep lugging it in and out of the car, it would have been too heavy and bulky. I also rarely attached the car seat to the pram as it wasn't really necessary for us. I live in a city so the bulkiness of it wasn't really that handy when going into small shops/cafes/restaurants etc. However the wheels were good for the winter and muddy park walks.

As soon as baby could sit up we switched to the Joolz AER travel pram (which does actually lie flat too but faces out) and we now use that as our main pram daily for our son who is 17 months old.

If I could go back I would get a light travel style pram that also has a bassinet attachment, like the Joolz AER or the Yo Yo. I think they are more worth it as you will end up using it longer. But like I said, I really do think it depends on where you live and the car situation.

I see a lot of the Nuna Mixx around which I did test and it is quite light and not that bulky.
We live in a big town and daily residential area so I think something all terrain would be wasted on us . I have a Nissan Juke and so the boot isn’t the biggest but still quite roomy but I don’t want something toooo big either . I’ve just always dreamed of a Silvercross but I know they’re quite bulky

we’re definitely going to try some out , as I say I’m only 13 weeks so early days but it’s just interesting to hear what others think ! I last bought a pram in 2019 so a lot has changed !!

We have also chosen this pram, loved how light it was!

We had an Uppababy Vista with the first. We’ll get it out again.

I love it because:
- it’s sturdy to push;
- has a big storage basket;
- can be parent and world facing.

But obviously it’s bulkier than a travel stroller.

Any one else working while pregnant and struggling with the tiredness?? I am constantly fighting to stay awake at my desk, have to have a fan on me 24/7 to try and help & my concentration is near to 0 lol. Luckily I reduced my hours from 37 to 30 not long before I fell pregnant I don’t think I’d manage the 37 now! I just feel like I’ve had zero sleep all the time, I’m 13 weeks tomorrow so hoping it will ease off soon. Any tips to help?

I’m sooooo tired . I don’t remember being this tired in previous pregnancies . I work 37 hours a week and it’s an absolute struggle . I’ve been up since 6 with my kids , just about to drop them to school and nursery and then I have a meeting at 9.30 , a 2 hour training from 10 , then a meeting at 12.15 and another at 1.30 which ends at 3 … and then I have to do the school run again 😩

I don’t know how I’m going to cope today lol . Not everyday is this crazy . But even though I slept fine last night I’ve woken up feeling like a zombie . So no tips here I’m afraid … just another moan

Has anyone has regular growth scans? My bump is measuring 4cm behind (28cm at 32 weeks) I lost a lot of weight in the first trimester with sickness and basically have had nausea without vomiting throughout pregnancy and am active so haven't gained much weight and now I am feeling awful about the impact on baby. We had a scan 3 weeks ago where baby was 13th centile... So just hope baby is ok again today..my midwife didn't seem too concerned about the lack of weight gain
Are you talking about the fundal growth where they measure your bump with tape? Yeah I was always consistently 4 weeks behind in that once I hit 28 weeks. I was sent for a growth scan around 32 weeks and everything was looking fine (and everything was fine!) They put it down to baby being so low down in my pelvis that was throwing things off as his head was basically wedged into my tina for the final 12 weeks 😅 lots of things can throw it off like maternal height, position of the baby etc etc. I’m pretty sure lots of places don’t even do fundal measurements anymore, they are a bit outdated!

Yep knackered! Not sure what type of job you have but can you ask to work from home? I find that helpful as I can have regular naps in the day. In the office I find cold drinks help and getting up regularly to walk. I’ve also had an odd lunchtime nap in my car! It’s really tough!

Really depends on your lifestyle but I’m loving our brown Cybex gazelle. We got the whole system that’ll grow with my daughter and will work for future children too. It’s like a 4x4 so great for country walks and it fits SO much. V moveable, good wheels, it’s just big.
I loved our John Lewis shop experience we tried so many and the sales assistant was so helpful so if you have any spare time I’d recommend :)

Thanks guys for the pram recommendations can’t believe there’s so many options haha.

Is anyone else playing the game of “is this a real pain, ligament pain, wind or do I just need the toilet”?

I swear I freak myself out so much.

Had my 20 week scan, all looking great but they couldn't see baby's heart as she was on her tummy lol. I saw her flip over on the scan, so I have to go back in 2-3 weeks for a rescan.
I can't actually believe that after so many losses I'm going to have a baby. It's unreal. 🫶🏻🌈
