Is there a reason their inducing at 39? Seems quite early (not sure on your situation)
First pregnancy baby had rescrited growth and I had mild infection on the placenta which was small. So it's kind of recommended albeit the growth of current baby is much better there is still a small risk of going over that my placenta will stop working as well . I was induced first pregnancy too and my experience wasn't too bad I know what I like and dislike going in.

Ohhh I’m sorry to hear that. That’s absolutely fair, best of luck! I was induced and had a positive experience too :)

I’m due next month and the reality of giving birth again is slowly creeping in and I’m shitting myself 😂 I suffer with anxiety anyway, also health anxiety quite bad which doesn’t help and I always thought oh second baby I’ll feel better about it. No, no I do not, I know too much now and that somehow feels worse?! Sounds stupid I know but the unknown was almost better 🤣

I'm 24 weeks this weekend! Time is absolutely flying this time round. Annoyingly my morning sickness seems to have returned as well :( Didn't have any in my first pregnancy. Baby girl seems to be sitting in my pelvis at all times, I never feel her kicking above my belly button. I've only really started to feel her properly in the last couple of days too :/

I've also had really itchy hands over night, went to maternity triage a couple of weeks ago and blood test was fine, but it's so randomly intermittent - if it was ICP would it be constant or just here and there?

Another day of being gaslit by medical employees, went to the GP for just my last check before my final midwife appointment. Id explained I've had terrible back ache and on and off contractions and there isn't even a response or any recognition of what I said.

I feel bad for you lot hearing all my worries lol. Missed a call from the midwife about my booking in blood test results and then they were shut. So been freaking out about that all night. I know there’s nothing I can do so there’s no point worrying. However easier said than done. I have thyroid problems so I’m hoping is just that and we need to adjust my medication but who knows.

Did anyone suffer with a metallic/ bitter taste in their mouth during pregnancy? Google says it’s common, particularly in the first trimester. I’m 27 weeks and only got it a couple of weeks ago. Google also says it can sometimes last after pregnancy. I really hope that’s not the case as it’s gross!

Had my booking appointment today: feeling like a pharmacy on legs as I’m now taking folic acid, vitamin D, ferrous sulfate and effervescent aspirin. Midwife tried to do my bloods and blew my vein. 🙃

I have this. This week has been horrible, I read that citrus fruits can help it but absolutely nothing is getting rid of it 🤮🤮

Hi everyone thought I'd join this thread. Still can't believe this but I am pregnant. Took a test yesterday and this morning and both positive with strong lines. Its surreal. I was trying for years before this and now it's actually happening. I think im about 5 weeks now. Symptoms are extreme tiredness, metallic taste in mouth, no appetite, mild cramps and feeling really hot!

I had this with my second and became quickly addicted to polo mints

Had my 20 week scan today, and found out we’re expecting a boy! I also have a raging cold and discovered I can take absolutely nothing, so my OH is in for a real treat of pregnancy snoring and sniffling tonight 😍

Turns out they had just mislabelled a blood sample so need to re-do it. When I called back she was very apologetic and I was like “oh I thought I had GD or something!”

Diabetes consultant today 'how do you have diabetes, you're very slim'. I was hoping you'd be the expert on that, Dr 🙄 I'm becoming more and more fed up with these comments and the intrusive questions that follow (not so much the Dr, he has to ask about my life history!) But parents on the school run don't need to know my diet, what I weighed as a child and my blood group!! So glad were at the final stage but this being my third, I know there's only worse to come 🫩

I finally have my 12 week scan in the morning! I'm so so nervous though. Had a scan at 6 and 8 weeks and all looked good and was discharged from the recurrent miscarriage clinic.
I'm just so so scared... I hope my baby is ok and growing in there x
