I used cloth nappies for both my kids and planning to use with third. It's a routine, but once you get into it it's pretty straightforward. I used little lambs/close pop in combos but will need to get new ones for #3! There is lots of choice which can be overwhelming and I used disposables for newborn first weeks and built up to cloth

Current new pregnancy craving - crisp, cold apple slices :ROFLMAO: much healthier than the double cheese burgers I was craving for the first few weeks!

Mine were all fruit! My absolute favourite thing to eat was a fruit salad with mango, grapes, cucumber and lime and tajin seasoning - I was pregnant in a summer of heatwaves though! All my cravings were fruit or sweet stuff so I was convinced BabyA was going to be a girl - he isn’t 😂🩵

Oh love this for you - must have been so healthy & refreshing!! I was obsessed with all things cold & crunchy last pregnancy, ice cold drinks, tango ice blasts, icecream & had a girl! Think I'm having another one as my cravings are all leaning that way again 🙈

Another vote for fruit! Loved to make my own fruit boxes and chomp away at work. Super cold drinks as well. And lightly salted tortilla chips, preferably the Tesco value ones (whatever Tesco value is called these days anyway). Had a boy ☺

Second pregnancy in less than two years for me. I'm now almost 24 weeks. I was feeling quite good but suddenly I feel so heavy and biiiiiiiiiiiiiiig. I also pulled my back picking up my toddler which was so painful for a couple of days. Can't wait to get this baby out of me! Just 16 more weeks to go of getting bigger and bigger 😫

You’re doing so well! If you haven’t already, look into a bump support. https://amzn.to/4ay2v7d this saved me in pregnancy when I had to go out for longer stretches as my pelvis was f***ed!

Heyyy everyone. Finally commenting on this thread after lurking for a few weeks, found out I was pregnant on 20th jan after two previous miscarriages, now 8 and a half weeks pregnant with my rainbow baby 🌈
Had two scans already due to previous losses.
Seen a heartbeat, measuring perfectly. It still doesn't feel real to me though? Will it ever? Looking forward to chatting. X

I had my rainbow baby on the 20th Jan! How special.
For me each scan was as nerve wracking as the last, I made myself physically sick from the anxiety before my 12 week. The scans were never nice for me so I tried to focus on other parts of pregnancy and the journey.
I didn’t allow myself to get excited for a really long time so I was kind of a trimester behind mentally.
Each week it gets better and better. So excited for you!

New to this thread but had a very faint positive today and having a bit of a meltdown. My cycles are still a bit all over the place since I stopped breastfeeding last September, so i could be late but also not late. I just had very odd cramps and a weird feeling that made me test. Anyway, would obviously be thrilled if it does progress, but I’m going to Australia for a month in 2 weeks and had HG with my first two pregnancies, and I just don’t know how to manage that on the other side of the world, or on the plane with 1 year old on my lap. Also had a missed miscarriage before so anxiety is kicking in. Not told anyone yet but felt an anonymous forum was the best place to get it off my chest!

Putting my anxiety behind a spoiler.

I feel so nervous. I’m 6+4 and have had some very light pink discharge on multiple days. I know it’s too early to see anything / do anything, but I just hate feeling so on edge. I had a miscarriage with my first (he was a twin) but that was “okay” because I never considered that anything bad could happen, and then it did and I had a scan and it was okay. This limbo is just not the one.

If you are in the UK, I think the Early Pregnancy Unit can see you from 6 weeks?

Almost 36 weeks with a 2 year old that doesn't understand personal space, he is constantly climbing or else around my legs if standing. Wondering how will I hope at all once baby is here

I am! I ended up getting an appointment for Monday, after a convoluted process that included filling in a triage form to get referred by the GP… who luckily was lovely. ❤

I’m glad the GP was lovely, seems so weird that it’s a process to see them though! I was lucky not to need EPAU so had no experience of it, going to maternity triage was so straightforward though.

Basically they told me I couldn’t self-refer to EPU, so I had to get an appointment with the GP… but you can’t just call them. It was a process!

Last time I was pregnant, maternity triage were really good. I know there’s less they can do in terms of outcomes in early pregnancy, but it really feels like you’re left alone with your neuroses in the first trimester…!

Oh completely. I remember randomly taking tests every now and then because I wasn’t even sure it was real!
