5 weeks and 4 days and my puppy stinks to me. My partner swears she doesn’t smell but it is vile. I feel awful because I’m not giving her as much fuss. Also made the mistake of feeding her salmon based dry kibble and oh my sweet lord it’s horrific - I cannot step into the utility and have ordered an airtight container in the hopes the room smell is more tolerable. Counting down the days till we can get an early scan and make this feel more real

I had dog aversion too! Couldn't go near her for a huge portion of my first trimester. It's super common and will go away, don't be too harsh on yourself

plus I’m going to have to go alone (if we make it that far) to my 12week scan because we don’t have childcare as I don’t want to tell anyone for a while 🥲 i know we wouldn’t be able to see anything for a few more weeks really but I want to know if it’s real!When are you getting it? With our first we went to a private scan around 9 weeks. Our second I had lots of bleeding early on so had 2 scans at EPU around 7 and 9 weeks, obviously the bleeding wasn’t nice but I don’t think I could’ve waited till 12weeks if we didn’t get those scans.
Will see how it goes, I’m so on edge that it’s not real or will even work out. 🥲
I don’t have any pets but I’ve heard this is definitely a thing and will go away again! I didn’t have a massively heightened sense of smell during my first trimester though the smell of any kind of meat cooking gave me the ick and I could for some reason really smell olive oil when I was cooking with it - weirdest thing!
It is so so strange! I’ve got crippling emetophobia and keep getting myself in a tizzy whenever I feel sick so I have asked my GP for some medication. I just don’t feel it’ll be sustainable to spend the next who knows how long having panic attacks about feeling sick
I am exactly the same, I’d had some Talkworks (free NHS talking therapy) for it anyway but I explained about emetophobia and how every time I was feeling nauseous it was making me panic and they were very good, happy to give me a prescription for cyclizine. I have to admit I did do a little bit of the pregnancy and mental health thing and play up my anxiety but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do!It is so so strange! I was 8 weeks pregnant and a work colleague had a crisis and brought their dog into work and they needed some help from me. Their dog stank. Really stank. I love dogs so much as well so before my nose clocked it I’d got stuck in here and given the dog cuddles. I had to be in a closed room with this person most of the day and it was rough! When I got home I had to change my clothes and shower because the smell was stuck in my nose
Nothing smells bad to me as such, but washing powder / softener smells so strong to me. I got a free sample of some scent booster, I only put in half the recommended amount but considered re-washing as it was so strong! Can smell it strongly on other people and second hand clothes too.

Did anyone else’s tests stall in progress around 16dpo-19dpo, they’ve all looked roughly the same I swear. I had a crap time with test lines with my last baby so I’m pretty on edge and have a slight wonder if something isn’t quite right.
I was only planning on testing until I had a dye stealer but it’s still not there yet. I’m sure most people have one by now 🥲

I’m hoping tomorrow’s will look a little darker but also I know maybe I should try leave it a few days. It’s so hard to not! I’ve had a loss before and my last pregnancy the lines were up and down for a while so it’s messing with me a bit !
the only other test I have is one cb digital and I was thinking to leave that until nearly 6 weeks to make sure I got a 3+. As I don’t plan on buying anymore once they’re all gone !

That looks pretty dark to me! I used up a cb digital and got 2-3 weeks at 4ish and haven’t bought another. I went nuts at first testing multiple times a day and can’t even imagine the anxiety after having a prior loss too. Thinking of you, look after yourself

I’ve done it for my other 2 so I guess I just like knowing everything is progressingI know lightening crotch is a thing but does anyone experience lightening a?! I know this is TMI but lately when I’m doing a number two the nerve pressure has me hopping off the toilet
