We've been unconsciously referring to Kestrelbaby as "he" with no evidence but then my husband pointed out that that's probably because the only other 'person' we refer to daily in the third person at the moment is the (boy) cat

I had a gut feeling about the gender, and I was spot on! It’s strange, I just knew 
TikTok is now showing me loads of videos of pregnant ladies with gestational diabetes. Ahead of my test in a few weeks time. Great

I knew from day dot Baby Lava was a boy but this time I don’t know 
With him I was so nauseous and sick for the first 10 weeks, tired and off food like curry.
This time I’ve been nauseous but only sick twice and those two times were because I ate my pregnancy vitamin on an empty stomach, I’ve been wanting to eat everything but off tea and coffee and just been bone tired exhausted (but that might be having a 15 month old who still wakes most nights and runs me ragged in the day lol). Oh and spotty. I have a weird feeling it could be a girl and so does my sibling who’s pretty psychic although likelihood is another boy looking at my OH’s family tree.

I’ve had 3 boys and 1 girl and my pregnancies were all more of less the exact same! I was absolutely convinced no4 was another boy and didn’t quite believe it until she was actually born and I could see for myself. Even now she’s nearly 8 weeks (sorry I’m still hanging out here 
) I still can’t quite get over the fact she’s actually a girl and always will be, I sort of forget in the middle of the night as my brain defaults to baby=boy

I’ve got a sweep booked on Thursday! So I’ll be 39+5.
With my first, I had 3 sweeps- the midwife said my cervix was so far back and closed each time that she couldn’t do anything, said baby wasn’t arriving anytime soon and booked me for an induction for the following weekend… he came spontaneously 2 days after!
@Scorpihoe i think the fact the midwife could even do anything is quite a positive sign and that you’ve noticed changes since!! Good luck and fingers crossed for you x

just a whole lot of cramping! I’ve tried curb walking, raspberry leaf tea, ball bouncing, sex…this baby is way too comfy in there!anyone tried clary sage? I have a bottle and contemplating using it now 🫣

I could actually cry. She’s steamrolling the conversation and saying “I’ve booked leave for days X and Y” and really not giving me a chance. I don’t know what to do. I just want to relax before my induction and now I feel stressed that she’s going to turn up at the hospital and we can’t turn her away

Ah thank you! Unfortunately that would mean going to another town but thankfully Big Tesco came through
Had an eventful arrival at the hotel. Our transfer to the hotel took a while and it was hot and I'd only (only pfftt) had a bacon roll and a Kind bar in the airport / on the plane and then we were sat in the lobby of the hotel waiting to be checked in and I was laaaaaagging and starting to feel very unwell and a lady was like "are you alright I have some paracetamol in my handbag" and I'm like "I'm fine I'm just pregnant and hungry but you are lovely" then we got a lift in a golf buggy to our room and he was whizzing along and poor porter, he was trying to welcome us to our room but I just had to practically elbow him out the way to go and stick my head down the loo
Anyway there's a supermarket round the corner and I've come away with a bag of various snack packs of salted crackers and houmous and nuts because even though I'm on an all inclusive I'm not risking not having my bag snacky snacks again

I need something like those collar tags they give to cats that go round and grift food off their neighbours (e.g. DO NOT FEED) but "NOT GRAVELY ILL JUST PREGNANT AND HUNGRY"
