Thanks ladies 😊 I actually have really sensitive skin and just buy whatever non bio is on offer (why are washing tablets soooo expensive!). I might sign up to smol delivery of fragrance free pods... I can see it being a bit easier knowing it'll be coming in the post than having to nip out to the shops to get some or keep on top of monitoring them. So excited, washing her clothes seems the most fun part of this right now 😂 then again it's my husband whose been putting furniture together, painting walls and sanding floors.. I can't complain!!

I washed all my clothes and managed to lose a pair of baby pants and a top from two different sets. It’s driving me crazy I just can’t find them where could they have gone!! I don’t even remember if they came out of the washing machine hah

How are we all soothing back pain? I’ll be 27 weeks tomorrow, have done 4 13 hour shifts this week and I’m absolutely paying for it now 🙃🤣
The heated seats in our cars are an absolute dream for back pain, so something with heat might help you. I had a pregnancy massage a few weeks ago and it proper sorted me out, I’d definitely recommend getting one if you can!
---
Baby boy is here! Born on 19 November weighing 7lbs 8ozs.

He has a very full head of hair and is my husband’s twin 🥰
Congratulations!!! 😍
---
We had our 4D scan today at 27 weeks and 5 days and baby girl was in a beautiful position. 😍

Link will expire at 3pm tomorrow.

Anyone else suddenly get boiling hot at 38 weeks? My partners had the heating on for about an hour and the house is only 15’c but I feel like I’m sweating through my pyjamas! Had to take everything off and lie in bed naked and I’m still boiling 😂 he’s not happy I keep putting the fan on at night, keeps saying it’s bloody snowing why do we need the fan on 🙈

I have been feeling hot my whole pregnancy. Haven't once turned the heating on when usually I'd be the first one (my bf has turned it on a bit) while I'm on the sofa eating ice lollies haha

Yeah I’m 37 weeks and my partner keeps telling me I’m tight because I don’t want the heating on but I’m absolutely boiling 90% of the time. Haven’t cooled down from summer 😅

Hello!
Currently 9+6 with my second baby (a complete surprise!🤣) .. due date on 23rd June 25.
We had a scan at 7+4 which went well and have another booked for Friday. I’ve had an absolutely wretched cold for the past week, so much coughing and spluttering, I feel like I’ve pulled a muscle on both side of my ribs 😭😭
Hopefully little bean is okay in there and riding it through.
congratulations everyone ❤

Had a little bit of a cry today. Tired of staying home and feel like I’m just stuck in a routine of wake up, clean, nap, cook, sleep. Don’t want to go too far away from home in case I go into labour but that means weekends are now just a quick trip out then straight back home. I’m tired of feeling anxious about baby movements and being at home more means I’m more alert to movements and lack of them (but in reality they’re fine it’s just me panicking). Stressed about birth and even more stressed about the possibility of stillbirth which is driving me crazy because I keep seeing comments and Tik toks even though I’ve blocked them which just feels like a bad omen 😭 plus seeing people who are behind you having their babies just reminds me she’s still not here yet

Just want this baby here now please ❤

Aw I get that! I went 15 days overdue and one of my NCT friends ‘stole’ my due date giving birth early! I was so emotional about it at the time. Baby will be here soon ❤

I understand. I couldn't wait to start mat leave but it's not even been a week and I'm bored. I'm used to taking our dog out around 2 hours a day but that's too much now. Yet the more I sit about, the more my carpal tunnel and feet pain sets in. And the darker nights don't help because as it gets close to bedtime, I just get so fed up cause it's a other night not sleeping. I hate not knowing when the baby will come. I want to know, even if it's another two weeks away (i'm not very patient).

Right here with you girl! And as a first time mum we have no idea what a contraction feels like so every time I get a pain I’m hoping that’s it. So over it now and just want baby here

Does anyone have any pregnancy pillow recommendations please? I was looking at the mumcozy one but OH thinks it will be too bulky in bed
Sorry really late to this but I splashed out on the bbhugme and I really love it as it's so adjustable

Having followed this thread while TCC can't believe I'm finally in the second option at 14+5 🥰
Pre pregnancy we always said we wouldn't find out gender as we don't really care - not one for gender reveals etc and always said it doesn't matter to us and we'd raise them similarly either way.
However since getting pregnant I am DESPERATE to know if it's a boy or girl and it feels so important and relevant. No preference I just need to know!
I guess this is normal as we just want to know anything we can about baby and make it feel more real.
Think we will just find out at 20 week NHS scan if we can but wondered if anyone else did the same U turn!

Could’ve written this myself - I feel exactly this way too. You’ve got this ❤

I literally could have wrote this; it’s like you spoke my mind. Feel like I’m losing the plot and then I feel guilty because I’m really lucky to be having this baby and I just cry over it all! Sending lots of love 🧡

I did this! I was adamant I wasn’t finding out this time, I wanted to experience the surprise and to be totally honest was scared of gender disappointment again. I’ve got 3 boys and bf has a son so was convinced it’s another boy and was actually pretty fine with it but as I got to 13/14 weeks I really felt like I just had to know. I caved and found out at 16+5 🤣 it’s a girl! I’m glad I found out although that surprise at birth would’ve been on another level!

I was the same! I was 5 days overdue but was constantly getting messages from abour 2 weeks before my due date. So many were having their babies before me that were due after and it’s the worst feeling. Just try and rest, do all the things you enjoy or maybe go for a date night if possible. I went into labour the next day! X

I totally feel you guys too, I was desperate for her to arrive but now looking back I wish I’d savoured those extra few days 😂 hate to be that person but I’m 4 weeks in with our newborn and we are in a whole different cycle of living and sleeping in 3 hour increments, crying at the drop of a hat, piles of laundry etc! It’s a different ball game but really do the things you can’t do now - have a bath, have a long everything shower, go for a drive on your own and get a coffee. This morning was my first trip out the house on my own where I felt free enough to leave baby with my husband and my god I felt exhilarated!!!
