Not anymore but I was so I completely feel your struggle. It's not for the weak! 😩
I’m honestly so done 😭 31 weeks tomorrow and my section isn’t booked until I’m 40+2 as they aren’t doing them when I’m due as it’s Easter weekend. I’m on half term next week and trying to plan where I can take my toddler because my husband is saving all of his leave for when baby comes and I just want to lie down in a dark room for a week and not speak to anyone. I’m already the size I was when I delivered my daughter as well 😂

My husband is going to be on a golf trip in Portugal for 5 days when I’m 37 weeks 🫠. It was pre planned before getting pregnant and I do want him to go as it will be the last golf he’s playing for a while! But I’m already dreading it!

I mean I’m not looking forward to when my partner has to go back to work but changing/dressing/chasing the toddler while pregnant was hard work! I’m hoping it will be all be easier without the big bump in the way 😂

I’m probably not anymore tired right now as my sleep towards the end of pregnancy sucked!

Really relate, Im 37 wks tomorrow only had my ELCS date confirmed at antenatal apt last week but if I was in any doubt it's there and a reality now
My sleep is still crap to non existent but I have been getting bursts of energy which I'm thankful for as I've made some big promises for half term as its our last school holiday before everything changes 😭

I saw an absolutely lush consultant that wasn’t my regular one on Friday who said ‘ooh let’s get you booked in nice and early I love booking sections’ because I’d mentioned I need to start thinking about childcare as it’s Easter holidays 😂 I got the option of 5 days before due date or 2 days late and opted for late so I only have 3 days of juggling a toddler and newborn and can pay for 3 extra days of nursery for her so she’s busy and entertained.

I’m absolutely spent though - sleep isn’t horrendous atm but I’m up every 2 hours peeing and my legs constantly feel like they’ve run a marathon despite magnesium spray. With anaemia on top but iron tablets giving me stomach cramps and chronic heartburn I can honestly say how the actual duck am I going to survive another 9.5 weeks of this 😂

I had 3 under 4 and did the majority of it solo…my best advise is - it’s ok to lower your standards for a bit!
Messy house? It’s ok! Freezer tea again? Your toddler will survive! Odd socks and a grubby jumper? No one will be calling social. It’s all ok, you’ll all survive, I promise!

This time I much a much bigger gap (4 years!) however my boyfriend will be returning to work after 3 days (self employed) or 7 if possible. My kids will probably be a bit late for school, they’ll probably have more pizza for dinner than they should and I doubt I’ll see the bottom of the washing basket for some time but it’s all a-ok 😊

Good to know 😂 we’re already debating trying to add a third to the chaos in the next couple of years if even possible with our age 🥲

I’m actually surprised no one’s been pushy with asking about contraception this time? I’m sure it’s one of the first things I got hassled on when I pushed my first one out 🤣

My first midwife appointment was ok. It was so long (despite me having meticulously filled in the pre appointment form) and a bit disjointed because my named midwife is herself going on maternity leave and they don’t know who will take over from her, and I was seen by a student midwife which was fine and she was lovely but because I brought up my mental health everything became a little bit protracted. They were both really nice and although my BMI puts me in the high risk category, which I was expecting, they were super nice about it and I felt comfortable.

They gave me iron tablets because apparently everyone gets them but I don’t know if I want to take them? I do have my own iron tablet supplements which I get on ok with so maybe I’ll try those and see if that’s enough? It all became very convoluted that I had to take the iron tablets every other day with orange juice and not have any coffee for ages and this was all told to me at the end of the appointment when my head was spinning. I don’t drink orange juice every morning but my one and only coffee that I allow myself is my morning coffee and the threat of this being taken away is about ending me 🤣 not to be overly dramatic or anything….

I also remain confused about whether I am supposed to take the high strength folic acid AND the normal strength folic acid. I was asked what I was taking so I said high strength (as recommended by the fertility clinic I had started to engage with) and then I was asked if I was taking both and I said no, should I, and they said no, it’s fine, then I was given a bottle of pregnant lady multivitamins I am supposed to take which has folic acid in them. Honestly, I don’t know how something with a lower concentration span handles that booking in appointment. It was A LOT.
