How an earth do you calm scan anxiety? I’m about 5 weeks and 3 days, I don’t particularly feel any symptoms, I have a scan on 6th July as I’ve had a previous molar pregnancy, and I’m already losing sleep over it thinking there’s either going to be nothing there, no heartbeat or another molar.. it’s been 11 and 8 years since I had a baby, and we tried for a year for this one, with a chemical in March.. I just feel like I’m losing my mind already with anxiety 🙈

I got these sheets from Asda, ordered crib thinking it would be the size of the next to me, but it’s more Moses basket size. Already had Moses basket sheets so I’ll use some for the pram too, I think they’ll be slightly bigger but I’ll just tuck them underneath.

They look great and have good reviews, thank you 🙂

Re the mini fan. I clung to mine like it was a lifeline, quite literally they had to pry it from me, I felt like it was the only thing saving me. They gave it back to go into recovery, I didn’t care by then but all kept reassuring me it was there 🙈😂

I don’t think you can. But you can’t change the outcome, so do what’s best for you. Either chose to believe it’s not happening for self preservation or chose to believe it and savour it until you’re told otherwise - Are you going to feel worse if you have another loss because you believed it might work out or would you be happy that for a short while you enjoyed it?

Here's a question for you all. When your baby is here will you be bringing them into your workplace so colleagues can meet them?
I know I won't be, but mainly because my office is city centre based so not exactly local, and there's only a small handful of people I actually like here 😆 i'd rather bring baby for a lunch date with work friends instead away from the office.

We did, but only because my husband and I work in the same place and have done for years so we would come and visit him otherwise I don't think I would have.

I did with both of mine, because I was really good friends with my co-workers and it was an easy office to get to/park etc. but if you don’t want to, then don’t. I think your idea of going for lunch with the people you like is a great one

Probably not. I was thinking to send an email to the team with a picture of the baby instead. If anyone wants to meet the baby am happy to meet them outside of work as a lunch date like you plan to do.

I think I will be, my office is right in the city centre so thought I would probably bring her in round Christmas time and do some shopping at the same time. I won't be going out of my way to take her but I know they will all want to see her!

Absolutely not but I am very anti social 😂 my team are based all round the UK anyway so would be difficult. Also in my building babies aren't allowed past reception so it would be a bit awks I think!
I'll send an email with a picture of him though!

I have 14 more working days left then I take my annual leave and finish up here for good. I was only on a fixed term contract for a year, which is obviously cut shorter now I’m pregnant, but definitely won’t be coming back in with baby. I’ve not even thought about what to do about work after baby!

I'm *very* early and new to this, but I think I will take baby to work! Although I live 20-min walk away.

I am already very very nervous about telling my work. I'm senior and this is gonna F a lot of things up for them. Aaaah

God no 😂 but that’s because I hate my work, don’t have any close relationship with local colleagues and my team are scattered across the NW. I also moved onto this team already pregnant so it’s not like we have known each other for years. I can offer a picture in a work Whatsapp 🤣.

I’ve said I’d take baby out for lunch but not sure if I’ll take them into the office. I’ve barely been in since I got pregnant so don’t want randomers touching my baby !

I’m thinking I might take baby to my Christmas lunch but not actually stay for lunch 🤣 we usually meet for a drink before hand so I’ll probably go to that and then leave. Baby due October so gives me 6-8 weeks to hopefully feel mildly human!

People keep assuming that I’ll bring the baby to work but I’m actually not that keen to 😂 I don’t want to play a game of pass the baby. I think I’ll send a picture and hope people forget about a visit!
