Ive followed your journey on TTC and can’t imagine how you’re feeling. How do you all cope with the worries of pregnancy please? Especially in the first trimester!
I’ve had a nightmare with pregnancies; I’ve no living children and I’ve had two miscarriages but I’ve just discovered I’m pregnant again. I’ve also had some illnesses and ‘things’ that are rare in pregnancy before, and it’s making me super nervous. I thought I was doing quite well and I bought a single baby grow last night because I wanted to prove to my brain that positive thoughts and things aren’t harmful. I then had a dream I miscarried again last night and I am a MESS mentally!
I just hope all the men in our lives have the same energy when the babies crying through the night and due a feedStop that's so cute, really does make you feel so lucky and loved! Mine tells us the 3 of us are his world. These men have no right being this cute and making us emosh![]()
I'm an emotional wreck this morning. My bump is finally looking like a bump, went to give my partner a kiss and hug before I left for work and he put one arm round me and cradled bump with the other while saying "group hug, I love you both".
I honesty feel like one of the luckiest people in the world. 🥹
Aw I love this! My partner always says "I love you both" to me too and I think it's so lovely. Last night he said night to me then put his hand on my bump and said "night buddy can't wait to meet you" and I wanted to cry it was so cuteCuteMy partner has gone from saying ‘love you both’ to me and my 4 year old to ‘love you all’ and it gets me everytime 🥲
Give them the original section date and then they’ll leave you alone (hopefully)Well Mr R hasn’t been shy about telling people that part 🫣I think it’s his favourite story to tell
I agree though, I find the pushiness weird! We’ve been fairly open about the name but then they always want to know more. Like, save something for when he’s here?
we’ve told most people we don’t know but because of all the placenta complications and bleeding I had, most people know I was going to have a planned section anyway so they know I’ve got a date by now and seem to push to know it.
Anyway I’m glad it’s not weird to keep it secret![]()
Just wanted to show my appreciation for your posts, they’re always very informative and well balanced xI feel your anxiety but it might help to think at 14 weeks the probability of MC is less than 1% or over 99% probability all will be well. If you’ve seen a heartbeat and no anomalies in the scan with a good combined test result and no other background conditions the odds are lower.
The thing with scans before you can feel baby move is that it’s hard to ever be happy because in the split moment you see you’re fine but the next day you can start worrying again and it’s not feasible to scan every other day obvs. Of course if you feel a scan is the only way to ease the anxiety, absolutely go for it. Reducing stress or worry is key x
