The baby academy free classes on a Saturday morning have been so useful and helpful. I really recommend them.
I really rate them too! Did the full whack one with my first but been doing the free classes this time round. Already done the hypnobirthing, baby care and first 6 weeks class, which were nice refreshers, the perinatal mental health one was good too and has given me some things to talk about with my midwife as hopefully a preventative measure as I had bad post natal depression, anxiety and OCD with my first. Have got the baby safety one booked too 😊 I wasn't eligible for NCT classes (there were none when I was pregnant with my first thanks to Covid and don't get any for second baby) so it's a nice option to have

I can’t wait to have a rare steak, cured meat, brie and smoked salmon. Maybe all at once 🤣
I’ve said to my partner no matter what time of day it is soon as I’ve popped the baby out he needs to go and get me a red bull and an italian BMT from Subway 🤣 then the next day he can cook me a medium rare steak for tea!

my biggest pet peeve with pregnancy is not being able to drink red bull or eat medium rare steak 😂
:( I am a redbull addict. At least one a day pre pregnancy!!! I’ve considered getting one and swilling it to have the taste and then just spitting it out 🤣

My other big one is sushi. Specifically tuna sashimi. My boyfriend better have the large redbull and a sushi platter for me waiting when this baby comes out

I know this will probably vary from hospital to hospital but I'm trying to work out what baby formula I can take in my hospital bag. I wasn't able to breastfeed previously, just didn't work, and my son has IgE allergy (same as me and OH) so ended up being prescribed formula since the soy formula made him constipated. I don't want to buy dairy formula because a) I'm vegan and don't want to support that industry and b) given that both me and OH have the same allergy, the likelihood is this baby will too. Is it okay to take it powdered formula? The only premade bottles I've seen are the dairy ones, I've only seen the soy formula in powder form. Is hot water made available?

I miss red bull like nothing else I swear to god but even after im pregnant I dont think I can even drink it then as ill be breastfeeding 😂 probably for the best tho as I know its no exactly great for you

I’m formula feeding too so might as well order a crate from Amazon on standby closer to the time 🤣

I've not missed anything really that I'm not suppose to eat. Smoked salmon never agreed with me and I only enjoy cheeses cooked and my meat well done 😂 I'm completely gone off the idea of alcohol as well.. I am thinking about the meal I want brought into the hospital, probably something basic like a battered sausage and chips 😂

Redbull has 80mg of caffeine in. You can have 200mg per day in pregnancy.
you can have a redbull.
it’s the only way I survived 12 hour shifts carrying twins. Just watch what other drinks you’re having in the day that contain caffeine like coke tea etc if you do have a redbull. Redbull just cover their backs and say it’s unsuitable.

The scaniexty is starting, thank god my appointment is early so I don't have long to wait. 37 weeks and at my last scan two weeks ago they were a little concerned about the size of bubs they were only 5 lbs and in 17th percentile... Let's hope it did some growing

I’m too scared with all the other ingredients that are in an energy drink. I still drink up to two cans of coke / fizzy drink a day - so around 70mg of caffeine and then Tango if I’m still craving a fizzy drink as it’s caffeine free. Don’t know if my conscience would let me drink a Redbull tbh

I’m the same, I always let myself enjoy 1 (sometimes 2 if I really need it) cans of coke a day cos I love it. I’d just rather not the red bull whilst I’m pregnant with all the extra ingredients like taurine etc

but once the babies out you bet you’ll see me with a can of red bull on the maternity ward 😂 🎉

The stuff you’re not recommended to have during pregnancy I’ve not missed too much, but the stuff you have to not have/limit yourself with the gestational diabetes diet limitations are a real struggle - my main food groups are chocolate and carbs! My due date is early April so going to stock up on Easter eggs and when Baby Parsley is here I’m going to eat nothing else for days 🤣 the hospital also has a M&S so going to send my husband down for a Colin the Caterpillar ASAP as a very belated birthday cake for myself! Also - sounds so lame - but I just can’t wait to have a bowl of cereal!

Yep but you don't show your face and you can message in via chat. I've done two and thought they we're informative enough for a free service. They do try to upsell the paid classes but that's understandable
Thankyou! I had followed the insta and was thinking of signing up.
I have decided against paying for the NCT ones.

The first time I questioned if I was pregnant when I went to eat my lovely medium rare steak and nearly puked on my dinner. I powered through and ate it all. Thank god it didn’t go to waste coz little did I know it would be my last one until after I give birth 😂
