CRZ Yoga on amazon are good lululemon dupes too
Lovealls are really thick and good quality, I had Asda ones early on and bought my pre-pregnancy size but now that I'm 33 weeks they are too small on me but I lived in them until about 28 weeks. I know shein are controversial but I've had a few pairs from there for cheap because I didn't want to spend too much as I won't be in them all that long. I got a large in the shein ones and they were too big until the third trimester but now they are so comfy and filling the gap from my Asda ones. I reckon I can wear my Asda ones again post partum though. Can anyone recommend any good maternity leggings? I had h&m last time but can’t find them and just bought some more, but they’re not that stretchy or comfy on the leg. I’ll probably live in them so I want something really comfy for winter and that washes quite well
My brother & dad both have two middle names so think it is quite common! you just never hear about it.Yes I'd pronounce it how you have! I think it's similar in sound but definitely distinct from Emily.
We're stuck on names for boys. I do want my Dad's name as the middle name and he wants his Grandfather's name so think he might end up with two as I can't see a compromise happening![]()
thanks for the tip!Yep totally normal for Aus! Seven weeks is a great time to do the dating scan as if your dates are off slightly and you go at six weeks they might not be able to see heartbeat etc even though everything is fine.

From memory (31 weeks with my third, you’d think I’d remember) I think it’s 500mL of clear, non fizzy liquid one hour before your appointment. They’ll usually do an abdominal scan first, have you empty your bladder and then come back for the transvaginal.
Oh wow! What week are you on? Was it emotional or just happy to be stopping now?Finished work today so officially on maternity leave now
I’m wrecked due to insomnia and acid reflux so very glad to have finished work![]()
How are you getting on?? Hope you’re both doing wellAgain, still lurking, but I’ve definitely slept better since baby arrived! Yes I’m up with him but I’m not in pain, aching and uncomfy when I do actually go to sleep. I wake up rested! Also being awake with a gorgeous newborn is definitely superior to being awake with sore hips and a constant need to pee![]()
I got this one from Amazon BABYGO® 2 in 1 Pregnancy Belly Band - https://amzn.eu/d/0qUZbUI've been looking at getting one but it's a bit overwhelming to know what's best. Any suggestions please?
Not that I know of, purely anecdotal from a few MN threads! Is there any fact surrounding this or medical backing? I felt a little nauseous after drinking it. Just assumed if you gave anyone with an empty stomach who hadn't drank anything for 14 hours a glucose filled drink they'd feel a bit nauseous. Now I'm worried haha
I get what you mean-I was the same I was very surprised when he told me he didn’t really want to and I felt a little put out but also a bit relieved in case he did it wrong lol. I just asked him if he remembers cutting the cord and his response was “I cut the cord?”Yeah, I get it completely. Generally speaking I'm not a sentimental person and hadn't even considered having kids before him, but once we started talking about TTC I always pictured him cutting the cord. As you say though, there's something way more important to soak up.
I have a scan at every appointment as I am consultant led -but it is pointless to me-baby is too big on screen so I can’t see anything anyway. Most of the time they don’t even let me see the screenI had two scans after 20 weeks (three if you count during labour itself) and honestly i was so pleased to have the chance to see her. A friend told me as they get bigger it becomes harder to check measurements etc because unlike at the 12 week scan, the baby doesn’t fit nicely on the screen.
My point wasn’t about any changes in pattern. Just the fact the movements are so strong now that it actually takes my breath away and hurts at times. I can’t remember this with my first xThe less room thing is a myth, you don't run out of room. Any changes to babies movements that are outside the regular scope of pattern should be checked out just to be on the safe side x
Yes you 100% can refuse! No healthcare professional can force you to do anything you’re not comfortable with!Just got a letter about the first health visitor visit and am just wondering... can you refuse? Really hate having people in my house![]()
Oh this is really interesting about the classes. Is it NCT you're attending or an independent course? I have an independent one booked in October and I'm a bit apprehensive about it!We've been going to antenatal classes and I didn't know what to expect but it's not thisfeels like such a waste of time. They waste so much time bleating on about random shit we already know and there is just nothing of actual value. I'm finding it's making me more anxious and overwhelmed when it should surely be preparing us.
I've also been reading the PBC hypnobirthing book and as a first timer it's giving me false hope I think. I'd love for it to go smoothly but I highly doubt it so trying to stay realistic so that I don't get my hopes up and inevitably shattered.
i am going to use two middle names too!My brother & dad both have two middle names so think it is quite common! you just never hear about it.
