my doctor is a hardass and doesnt wanna do a scan until 12 weeks...so i hope when i see her at 10 weeks she listens to me and helps me just ease my anxiety. last time i saw our baby was at 6 weeks! so its a long wait over here!
Was there a heartbeat at 6 weeks? As that’s a really good sign. In the UK, you have to go private if you want a scan before 12 weeks (unless you’ve had recurrent miscarriages). Hopefully they can do a scan at 10 weeks, I would explain how much your anxiety is affecting you etc and it would ease your mind a lot - sure you’re going to say that anyway! Hope they listen x

Anyone suffered with blocked milk ducts in pregnancy? Dr thought I had a fungal infection but it’s day 6 of using the cream and no difference and the more it goes on the more this feels like early breastfeeding days and blocked ducts.

In absolute agony, can’t express as am only 22 weeks so currently alternating between hot and cold compresses and waiting for dr to get back to me with I’m praying some kind of miracle cure.

I used sunflower lecithin whilst breastfeeding but I don’t know if I can whilst pregnant?

Had anyone else just not felt any nausea really? I’m nearly 10 weeks. Had a few episodes of feeling nauseous earlier on but fleeting. I feel pregnant in other ways - super bloated, random aches and pains, exhausted - but no nausea. I had very minimal nausea when pregnant with my first child but this is even less still. Worried it’s a bad sign
Not a bad sign at all, I was barely nauseous and never vomited. Mostly I felt bloated and a bit like I had a cold. I'm 26 weeks tomorrow :)

Tens machine is definitely worth a whirl I had mine on for about 20 hours before the epidural went in! I’ve also heard of some people using a comb for the same effect (squeezing it into their palm as a distraction)
Ive read the comb tip too! Plan to have one in my hospital bag!

Bump is measuring 2 weeks behind, first issue we've encountered with her size so far. Currently 34 weeks and 4 days, she's measuring at 32 weeks by fundal height. Have a growth scan next week anyway so a referral wasn't necessary. Did anyone experience similar and found the growth scan measured different?

Lavender spray on your pillow, I find sometimes if I tense all the muscles from the bottom to the top of my body it'll relax me more and enable sleep. A walk isn't necessarily feasible due to the bowling balls we're all carrying but if you feel able it may help!

I was diagnosed with insomnia when I was 13 and thankfully my medication doesn't affect pregnancy so it's not something I struggle with massively anymore. The muscles thing has some actual science behind it, and it can't hurt to try lavender spray.
The muscle tensing is something I normally do but it’s stopped working recently. Shall try the lavender. I’m exercising but it’s not doing anything, even if I’m exhausted I don’t sleep.
