I remember reading your post a few threads ago about your 12 week scan and finding out you were having twins 😄 doesn’t seem that long ago! Do you know what you’re having, by the way?
I know it’s really flew but as another poster has just mentioned, I bet it’s going to slow down now as the toll on my body is starting to get real. Their estimated weights at 30 weeks are 3lb7 and 3lb14 so I’m already carrying the weight of a full term singleton. These next few weeks are going to be hard and I still have so much to do.
We are having a surprise 😊 much to the disappointment of in-laws wanting to buy stereotypical boy/girl baby clothing. Mwahaha!

I'd love to say the anxiety isn't as bad from here on out but I think you and I both know that's a lie! Glad all was okay 🧡
So true! Though, I’d say it gets a little easier with each scan, apart from the day before when I turn into a bit of a mess again 😄

Just had my 25 week midwife appointment- fundal height of 27 cm! Not a clue what that means, midwife didn't explain it. Blood pressure has naturally gone down (forgot my aspirin for at least a month 😵💫) all in all a very healthy wriggly baby.

Also for anyone around a similar point as me - I've been told not to worry too much about reduced movements until after 26 weeks.

My midwife said the cm's usually line up with what week in pregnancy you are but they allow 2cm either side. So 25 weeks = 23-27cm.

I've been awful at remembering to take my aspirin in this pregnancy so you've just reminded me to take it 😂

I had my 25 week appointment this morning too!

She said she won’t start measuring bump until 28 weeks but she used the Doppler and we listened to baby’s heart, she said my blood pressure was a bit low and urine a bit dehydrated so need to drink more water and it should all be fine! Ive always been terrible at drinking so I’m going to make sure I do drink more now!

Remembering to drink water is really tough. I'm the same, I always forget. Thankfully work in same office as my husband so he'll go and fill my water bottle up and tell me to drink it 😂

And most of the instant rehydration drinks contain loads of sugar 🥴 at least coffee/tea counts!

Forgot to mention - I got a lecture from my midwife about not wearing maternity clothes! The jeans I'm wearing aren't tight yet and are comfy. I'm not a stylish or aesthetic driven person at all but most maternity clothes are hideous. I'm a jeans and plaid shirt kind of person, trainers & the occasionally dress. Have never worn leggings & never will for certain reasons. Also being 4'11, maternity jeans with the fabric band absolutely swamp me. All maternity dungarees are made for non vertically challenged people.

It's all well and good lecturing but there isn't actually any nice maternity clothing for short people 🥲

Honestly it's really hard for us short people! I've started buying normal clothes in a size up. The only success I've had is maternity bras

Im
5’9 and I’m at the weird stage of my jeans are too tight and my maternity jeans are too big, but they’re sooooo comfortable. I’m sticking the excess fabric under my bra to hold them up 😆 my sister is little and she struggled her entire pregnancy with clothing. She ended up sewing in her own bands to existing jeans. You may be better just sizing up in clothing.

I’ve got a water bottle that has times on it I’m already 3 hours behind 🥴

I'm 28 weeks and measuring 28cm so spot on. Always thought my bump was small compared to others though. I fainted during my bloods haha standard.

Completely agree! I’m 5ft and still in my normal jeans though they’re getting tighter now. But any maternity jeans are going to be too long for me!
I’m thinking I might wear mainly stretchy-ish dresses which can be worn with tights and cardigans in winter rather than pants/jeans. But in my browsing I haven’t seen any petite maternity clothing.
