I had the same thing happen to me. It was a proper faff appealing it but eventually I just had to pay for the prescription that I allegedly wasn't entitled to even though I was pregnant when I claimed it 😤
I’ve had loads of prescriptions as I’ve been drinking gaviscon from the bottle 😂 I refuse to pay £10 a prescription for something I could have got cheaper on the shelf!

No I'm low risk but I have had strep b in the past so they said they would check for that at 36 weeks so maybe it's for that? Other than that I'm low risk on everything else and if I don't have strep b at 36 weeks then I can have a water birth.
That sounds like what it might be for then 😊

Hey all, I'm 21 weeks and 3 days and have an anterior placenta - wondering when people who also are in the same boat felt any movement as I haven't felt any. I also don't "feel that pregnant" haven't got a "D Bump". I was a size 12/14 slim waist before and I just look like I have a belly atm which is getting me down a lot as all you seem to see are perfectly round bumps! Mine is more like B with a dip like before I was pregnant but more exaggerated
I've had anterior placenta both times! First u started feeling movement around 20 weeks, 2nd around 15/16 weeks! But this time the consistency didn't start til around 29 weeks and I can't remember with my first 🤣

I also got the letter about prescriptions ordering me to pay a fine 🙄 I did email them with proof of my MATB1 and then my certificate when I eventually got it , midwife forgot to do my certificate and my pharmacy know I'm pregnant so I was never asked. They still want me to pay the prescriptions even though I've given proof that I was pregnant at the time. So annoying!

I just did my Facebook announcement how nerve wracking is it!!!! Actually feel sick 🤣

Well done! I keep putting it off 😆 I might once I get past 20 week scan. The most important people know but there’s folks on there I haven’t seen in a few years who I might have been close with at one point and school friends.

I just couldn’t wait 😆 yeah I’m having the most random people comment congratulations 🤣

Had the scan, they're a super wriggly bean! Due date has changed to 04/12, so no due date besties 🥲 but they're a happy healthy baby, now to worry about the combined test results 😵💫

Aw 3 days apart it could still happen! 🙈 I know that’s the next worry isn’t it!

Anyone else cry to their partner/husband about the 1st trimester morning sickness and exhaustion?
🤰👋🏻👋🏻 ⬅⬅⬅⬅
I’m sad becuase I’m supposed to be happy but I just feel so sick and tired.

I know people will say “women have been doing it for millennia” but I’m pretty sure it’s only modern women who’ve had to maintain a 40 hour week and commuting whilst batting morning sickness and pretending to be normal
I complained for the whole 1st trimester. I was sick, tired and just felt downright miserable. I spent many nights crying that I didn't want to be pregnant anymore if I continued feeling like that. Pregnancy hormones had me totally screwed up in the head.

Thankfully by week 14 I feel relatively back to normal self! Now 21 weeks, found out we are having a much prayed for baby girl and I am delighted and so so thankful to my body for keeping her safe and well 🥰🥰

I am roughly same as you, 21 wks today and was a 12/14 pre pregnancy. I've gone to a 14 now but don't look pregnant, I too have a B belly and just look like I've been eating too many cakes. I felt slight movements last week, but I was sitting stationary at my desk on my phone. I have only felt odd movements since like small faint flutters, nothing like I expected and not noticeable busy in day to day life!

Haven’t been on here much since starting maternity! I’m 38w 6d today and being called in for an induction in the next few days as baby is measuring big. Was stressing about it and the unknown but I’m also at that point where I’m not enjoying pregnancy anymore. I feel huge, can’t see my feet, and I’ve not had more than 2 hours decent sleep at a time. So ready to have my baby now! 🥳

I have an anterior placenta and have been feeling consistent movements since about 22 weeks, first feeling tiny flutters at 19 weeks. Now I’m 39 weeks and the movements are constant, he hiccups like 3 times a day and I can feel my belly/but pulsing from it 😂😂 I always see tiktoks of people complaining that they have an anterior placenta so won’t be able to feel anything but trust me, you will still feel movement and experience those summersaults etc!
Maybe just due to your body shape you will pop at a different stage :) every body is different in pregnancy and I’m sure by the time you’re in your third trimester it will be more pronounced x

Is anyone having the NIPT test?
I had the NIPT test and in my opinion was worth the money for my mental health but each to their own!

Pregnancy is just one long wait, isn’t it? I had a rough time post partum with my now toddler and I was determined not to rush things, just to enjoy each day as it comes with this pregnancy because as lovely as the babies are when they arrive, it’s tough going. Now 33 + 2, and soooo uncomfortable. Achey and sore, hip hurts, back hurts, awkward sleeping means my shoulder hurts so even turning around is painful, feeling sick, weary …

I am guilty of constantly wanting the next moment. Is anyone else the same? So I get my positive test and then waiting for my reassurance scan, then 12 weeks, then 20 weeks, then wanting trimester 3 to start, then wanting this half term to end as it is my last full one in work (teacher) now I’m wanting my 34 week scan to see if this naughty baby has turned (breech) and then wanting maternity leave to start and then …

I want to just enjoy the here and now but it’s hard when it’s so sore!

I’m hearing talk of the 12 week scan appointment being four hours long. Surely that’s not right?

I so get this! I’m only in the early stages and already feel myself being like this

I had my scan, had to walk around a bit to get the baby to move around and have some extra water then scanned again, and had my bloods taken and the whole thing took about half an hour!

At my 12 week I had blood taken and then the scan took about an hour as baby was in a funny position for them to check the fluid. But I've never heard it being 4 hours!!! I thought my hour was longer than I've ever been given!

Mine was (for both pregnancies). Though where I live it’s the booking appointment, scan, bloods, blood pressure and appointment with obstetricians if required
