Depending where you are it can be up to three hours. Mine was about 2.5 hours. I got there and checked in, they took my details then sent me to wait for the scan. That took about 15-20 minutes then I had to give a urine sample and waited to speak to the midwife, she went through what tests they'd be doing then I had bloods done for downs etc and general stuff such as iron and then I could leave. It was a long process for me but maybe not the same in all areas.

Mine was literally no more than 10 mins and that was including the sonographer finding a birth defect and us having a discussion about it! X
I’ll also add that after the scan we went to a different room where they took my bloods and we discussed more about my baby’s health issues and even that didn’t take long, we were in and out the hospital in under half an hour for sure x

I've just had my 12 week scan this morning and the whole thing took about 45 mins. Scan was about 10-15 mins, then some bloods and urine, then a sit down with the midwife to take some more details.
I thought I was 12+5 but I'm measuring 13+2 so have a 6th December due date! Baby was stretching and twirling, it was so magical!

Well ladies I’m now in hospital and being induced, got the first pessary inserted and all I will say is thank god for midwives with small hands

Had a minor bleed nearly 3 weeks ago had a scan each week for the following 2 weeks. No concerns with baby therem I'm now 13 weeks.
However they said I had uti so had 7 days antibiotics, and now another 7 days antibiotics. Gp saying not uti but not sure what, maybe infection/inflammation. I still have blood in urine when they test it and when I'm wiping the tissue is often brown. I've had that brown on tissue for majority of pregnancy so that's never been seen as an issue to midwives etc, only if it was red they said
I'm just stuck and clueless and down
Anyone had uti /blood in urine etc

When did everyone start showing? I'm 17 weeks and last week I felt like I had a bit of a bump showing but this week it's gone down loads - is this normal? Could I just have been bloated last week? I also felt flutters for a few minutes last Sunday but haven't felt anything since so of course I've started worrying again

I had a B shaped bump for ages and totally get what you mean about it making you feel down, I felt the same and I thought I didn’t look pregnant, just that I’d put on weight. Its different for everyone, I’m 28 weeks and mine started rounding out at around 25 weeks.
Also (it might just be me) but I think I tend to notice the negative things about my appearance that other people don’t see- I had people commenting that my bump looked lovely when I thought I didn’t look pregnant

I’m allowed to say that about myself and had a little cry about it last night… sounds a bit self absorbed and I know rationally it’s only temporary but it’s got to me a bit as I’m already big. I do have two though. I thought I’d felt something but keep getting it confused with constipation, I think. Glamorous.

With my first those early kicks felt a bit like wind haha, little pops and flutters. This time it feels like more obvious kicks but I’m not sure if it’s because I know what I’m feeling for! I was surprised first time round how the early movements didn’t feel like kicks and did feel more like pops of wind so may well be the babies!I’m nearly 19 weeks and look like a house end

On the bump talk (almost 19 weeks) I find it depends what I’m wearing, a summer dress with like a ruched top makes me look really pregnant, shorts and t shirt makes me look like I’ve had a big dinner, it defo seems to be down to the style of clothes a lot too!
It definitely doesn’t feel like regular wind and it was constant yesterday for about an hour. It was definitely in that place but not what I’d thought flutters were, more one of the babies was on a mini trampoline and head butting one of my muscles!
Haha that’s weirdly how this baby feels! Definitely more noticeable than last time at this stage (I think we’re about the same) but that actually describes how this baby feels perfectly
I started feeling my twins around 17/18 weeks so it probably is! Like you it felt like wind, but wasn't in a wind "pattern"
I had my 12 week scan yesterday and they identified a UTI during my diagnostics. I was totally unaware that I had one though - no symptoms and feel fine - so I've got antibiotics for 5 days and hopefully that will be that. If they're ruling out a UTI for you then I'm assuming they'll do some more tests and hopefully get you on some different medication.Hi guys looking for some advice/comfort
