I started feeling my twins around 17/18 weeks so it probably is! Like you it felt like wind, but wasn't in a wind "pattern"
This is good to hear! I wouldn’t say it’s a particularly pleasant either. Not painful though. Did one of your twins feel more active than the other one? It feels like I’m getting more action on one side of my lower tummy than the other. Maybe they’re both resting against one side!

Yes, twin 1 had a posterior placenta and twin 2 had an anterior, so I felt twin 1 more than I did twin 2.
Twin 1 was always on my right and twin 2 would be tucked away in the left

Urgh 33 weeks now and not sleeping well at all, the insomnia from the first trimester is back with vengeance and my pelvic pain is adding to having to rotate all night.

Also feeling very lonely at the moment, I ended up in tears last night as I tried to have a serious conversation with my husband about the birth and what options we have and what I need from him during labour and he’s always so jokey about everything, making jokes about how he’s gunna be on the golf course or something and it was funny the first time but I genuinely want to have a serious conversation.
I know for partners, nothing has changed yet and it’s hard for them to understand what we are going through mentally and physically at the moment but I’m so full of worry and anxiety, I feel like it’s all on my shoulders to burden and I just want him at least to give me a hug and say it’s going to be ok we are in this together ☹. It’s a very vulnerable feeling.

I hope you were able to tell him that - sometimes people don’t know how far they’ve pushed you. Tell him what you need. Xx

I’ve had moments like this with my partner where he’s just not taken it seriously, it’s very frustrating especially when you just want some support. He only really started taking it seriously recently when we thought baby was transverse and that it would mean we wouldn’t have a straight forward birth if things didn’t change.

Hopefully the closer it gets to being a reality, your partner will be more supportive and understanding

We went for the Egg 2 because my friend sold it to us for a steal 😆 it’s too early for us to be getting a pram yet but I couldn’t let that go 🤣 but brand new the prices are crazy😵

Would highly recommend a Kinderkraft Xmoov if you don't want something too pricey!
It's been amazing

I think this will be the most expensive thing we buy. Very happy to buy the entire nursery from ikea but for something that’s going to get so much wear and tear, the buggy is going to need to be a good one. I’ve already started researching buggies and the main brand that’s caught my eye is Anex. They look very good but still need to do deep dive.

prams are definitely a minefield 🫣 thanks for all the recommendations!
We’ve been shopping/looking today and whittled it down between one from mamas and papas and the icandy peach - think I’m leaning towards the icandy more tho I think!

Cariban Question - do you have to be physically getting sick to get this prescribed?

Very sick but not vomiting the last few days and wondering how I will get through work the next few weeks. Currently 7.5 weeks

Thanks

My GP prescribed cyclizine for me no problem-I had motion sickness 24/7 but no vomiting. They generally will try a few before getting one that works for you-they don’t want you to suffer!

Nope I has severe nausea with no sickness and got cyclizine prescribed!

I think nausea is worse. In my first pregnancy I had three ‘states’: feeling sick, being sick, just been sick. Just been sick was bearable for an hour or so. Feeling sick relentlessly is horrible and so draining. I’ve escaped it for the most part this time, although brushing my teeth can trigger sickness sometimes.

With my first I was sick 10/11 times a day, it was awful and I always thought people with nausea were complaining unnecessarily (sounds harsh but I felt tit allll day for 17/18 weeks haha), this time I’ve been sick 1/2 times a day maximum and felt nauseous 24/7 and it was so much worse. The only relief I’ve had is when I’m actually sick so I prayed I’d start throwing up for the relief of it! Luckily only lasted until 12 weeks this time but it shouldn’t be underestimated how awful it can be! Lesson learnt!!!

Agree I dont mind the being sick because I feel better after but feeling sick all day is the worst 😩 every morning I’m gagging from brushing my teeth I’m fine in the evenings though 🤣
